- HikingGrumbleSanta Cruz, CA49 contributionsGreat business and wonderful staff. The big plus on this location is that you simply go down to the dock and just push off from there. We chose a double kayak for the day - two hours for only $17 (cheapest by far in town). However, due to location you are limited in terms of access. There is a sort of slough with ducks and then you are cramped in by the buoy markers that keep you from going into the middle of the lake, for which of course is proper due to all the boating.
