Absolutely incredible experience. Sensoria is a truly special place, where you hike from waterfall to waterfall, hot spring to spring, encountering truly beautiful sights at every step of the way. Our guide, Joaquin, was extremely knowledgeable and kind, and I can’t recommend him enough. And the other very special part about Sensoria is the privacy — it’s a reserve so you have almost the entire place to yourself. We never shared any spring or waterfall with more than 1 other family. And the food is delicious! Enjoy your trip!!

We stayed at hotel hacienda on the property so got to experience the hot springs at no additional cost. Arrived at 9am when they opened and had the entire place to ourselves which was fantastic! No need to bring anything since they supply towels and have dressing rooms on site. They have various hot springs across the property. Limited parking if you’re driving there yourself. Will definitely be back!

The waterfall is on private property so you pay 700 colones per person to enter the grounds.
The only way to see the waterfall is to get a free lunch. The price is USD43 per person! Expensive entry to a small waterfall. After paying, you get a wrist band and drive 5km up the road. There is security there so you can park with stuff in the car. Very easy walk to the stair bridge that takes you to the viewing platform. Small platform that makes it easy to access the water but takes away from the look of the waterfall. Hard to get a picture of the falls without it in it. There was a group of 5 already on the platform when we arrived so a little crowded but not bad. If you aren’t swimming, the whole thing takes 10 min.
Back to where you paid for lunch. Pretty setting but the food on the buffet isn’t great. Don’t eat the pasta - dry rubber - not sure how long it had been there. The chicken was tasty. The bar downstairs had craft beer.
Overall, the waterfall is pretty (not the best in CR) so if you are passing by then stop in but otherwise don’t go out of your way.

Did a combo tour. Hike to Pailas, a waterfall & hot springs. Our guide, Johnny, was amazing!! Súper informative tour, got to see a few animals and enjoyed the hot springs. Totally recommend it

This is such a cool place, with so much to do. We did the mega combo tour, and had a nice time. I didn't understand that you do everything, not pick and choose. It was a great day!

For activities, they have horseback riding, hiking, and zip lining. They also offer massage. We partook in zip lining, hiking to natural waterfall slide, and massage. All were great. Felipe our guide was friendly and funny. He said most people do the horseback riding.

Come here if you want to chill and you’re not a foodie. Beware that many staff acre fairly new since COVID. Management needs help.

Vida Adventure Park horseback adventure is a sight and experience to behold and treasure! Wow, the scenery, the beautiful ever-changing terrain, the perfect mixture of jungle forest. Highly recommend for couples and families to stay on the property and take the horseback riding tour. We rented the apartment on the property through AirBNB and when we found out they had tours ON the property we immediately signed up. We are super glad we did as it was simply magical!

We took the waterfall tour while staying at the blue river resort. The waterfalls were amazing and the swim at the end was so refreshing and fun. My tip would be to stay at the blue river resort for a day or two. It is not an easy drive to the resort and it is so nice you should spend some extra time there.

Offi and his team were wonderful! He made sure we had transfer from LIR to La Leona waterfall and in a timely manner. Our plane arrival was really late, but he still made sure our transportation was there for us. The waterfall tour was nothing short of amazing. The team was so patient and helpful and safety was priority. The fresh cantaloupe at the end was a refreshing little treat. Our driver then took us to our Airbnb in Tamarindo with a little pit stop at a local favorite for some Casado. Offi was very efficient in all ways. Highly recommend!!

My grandson and I did a full day adventure with Eladio to the Palo Verde National Park. He picked us up
At Blue River Resort so it was a drive to the park but Eladio is entertaining and very knowledgeable. We saw many birds, some rarely seen, coatis, white faced monkeys, alligators and more. On the way back we stopped at a Soda for lunch and it was yummy. I would highly recommend Eladio for your adventure. Thank you Eladio
