What travellers are saying
- DAinSASan Antonio, Texas, Usa13 contributionsWe had a nice drive down Mulholland Drive in the cool CA weather. The views were magnificent and the houses lining it were beautiful. My only complaint would be the limited parking to get to some of the best photo opportunities but being a residential area not all that surprising. Overall, a must if you are visiting the LA area.Written 14 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- dnalecizMoreno Valley, CA404 contributionsIf you desire to go shopping in Beverly Hills, you will land up in the Golden Triangle. Located between Santa Monica Boulevard, Canon Drive and Wilshire Boulevard is The Golden Triangle, a collection of seven smaller commercial streets that encompass the business district of Beverly Hills. The world-famous Rodeo Drive is part of the Golden Triangle. This district contains 25 top of the line boutiques One can find Cartier (watches) / Louis Vuitton (shoe store) / Gucci Beverly Hills (women’s clothing) / Tony Style Tuxedos (men clothing) & Tiffany & Co. (jewelry) among these shops. If you’re hungry, you can partake at 23 outstanding restaurants to satisfy your appetite. Il Fornaio, Mastro's Steakhouse and The Penthouse at Mastro's are just a few of these excellent eateries located within the shopping district. Numerous fitness Centers, Cafes and Bars are scattered throughout the area. This shopping district is at the top of the list for its lavish and opulent shops. Due to a limited budget, was unable to purchase any of the merchandise on display. Had a great time window shopping and watching others doing the same. If one is interested in Public Art, Beverly Hills, is the perfect spot for you. Located in Beverly Canon Gardens just in front of the Maybourne Beverly Hills Hotel, is the “Beverly Hills is Beautiful” sculpture by Mr. Brainwash. Nothing fancy, just a block of pink colored metal designed to represent cursive words that read “Beverly Hil is Beautiful.” This beautiful pink sculpture created in 2019 represents the essences of Beverly Hills. Beverly Hills is truly beautiful and well worth visiting.Written 20 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HeatherLouisville, KY379 contributionsIf you're in the Beverly Hills area it's worth stopping by to see. The house definitely sticks out from the rest of the houses around it, but that makes it even cooler in my opinion.Written 6 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Caroline LLos Angeles, CA2 312 contributionsTruly a hidden gem of Los Angeles. Go online to Los Angeles County website to get tickets as it’s by reservation only. The tickets are $15 and totally worth it. Our docent was amazing filled with so much knowledge about the history of the family and property. My friend and I absolutely loved the 90 minute tour of the home and surrounding gardens. They are truly spectacular. At one point in time, I thought I had wandered off into Maui. It’s really that beautiful! Parking was on site and free in a small lot adjacent to home. Great experience!Written 2 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JedimommyDeForest, WI23 contributionsSaw the Marilyn Monroe exhibit there. Everything was displayed beautifully and there was a film about Marilyn's life playing. The view from the top of the building is beautiful. However, there is no gift shop and the workers at the front desk were condescending and a bit rude.Written 16 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dnalecizMoreno Valley, CA404 contributionsSituated in Beverly Hills is the famous Beverly Gardens Park. The Park spans nearly two miles long along Santa Monica Boulevard from North Doheny Drive to Wilshire Boulevard. This green zone park is free and open to the public. As one explores this great park, you are dazzled with outstanding works of art by exceptional artists. A remarkable old Morton Fig Tree sit in front of the Beverly Gardens Park. One exceptionally outstanding feature of the park is the historical Beverly Hills Sign and Lily Pond located at North Cañon Drive and North Beverly Drive. The original was built in 1907, and it became a landmark of Beverly Hills. The Beverly Hills Sign and Lily Pond was across the street from the Beverly Hills Train Station. As travelers disembarked from the trains, the first thing they observed was the Beverly Hills Sign, welcoming them to the city. Over the years the Sign and Lily Pond was neglected, vandalized, and eventually the Pond was removed during the 1970s due to lack of funds to restore it to its former glory. The area was “grassed” over. The 40-foot-high Beverly Hill Sign remained in place and became a favorite photo spot for tourists visiting the city of Beverly Hills. In 2012 as the city was preparing for its 100th birthday, the city decided to revitalize the Beverly Hills Sign and Lily Pond. After a year of construction, the lily pond was unveiled in 2014 just in time for the City’s 100th birthday. The new lily pond features a pool that covers nearly the entire city block. The Pond was initially stocked with fish, frogs, and other aquatic life. However due to the ongoing drought in California, most of the wildlife has disappeared over the years. Today one can observe Lily pads and flowers in the pond. The damaged discolored Beverly Hills Sign was replaced with new letters painted white. The entire project revitalized the park and is a remarkable achievement for the city of Beverly Hills. Spent an hour viewing and taking photos of this outstanding Sign and Pond. Well worth the time.Written 19 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
