Absolutely fantastic day out. Prevelia beach is just like being in the Caribbean.
    Great for snorkeling too.
    Would definitely visit again.

Firstly thank you very much to Michelle, she is a lovely lady who is a breath of fresh air, very welcoming whilst retaining her professionalism and helping us to make the great decision to go on The Cretan Safari Land Rover Experience. Thankyou Michelle it was so lovely to meet you.
We were a group of 5, made up of myself and my husband and a couple and their teenage daughter.
We had a really brilliant day. Themis, our guide and driver was an amazing guide, he was an excellent driver and such good fun.
He was very knowledgeable of the local areas and entertained us greatly.
Our highlights were, getting off the beaten track and going up really bumpy roads. Stopping at the villages and seeing the locals, and having a lovely tasty meal at a local village, he really looked after us well, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We recommend this trip to anyone who likes a bit of fun and adventure along with seeing some beautiful views along the way.
Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

The tour to Preveli was a dream. The journey started with Kourtaliotiko’s dramatic cliffs, where the breeze carried the sound of hidden waterfalls. It was wild, rugged, and full of awe. Preveli Beach was the perfect contrast—peaceful, with its emerald river winding through swaying palms. Our guide was entertaining and added just the right touch of humor to keep things lively. The mix of natural beauty, serene waters, and fascinating stories made this tour unforgettable. A perfect escape into Crete’s hidden gems.

Amazing trip from the north to the south of Crete, discovering authentic villages in the magnificent mountains and gorges of Crete. Very well organised and a comfortable bus. Thanks to Leftheris and our guide Nicholas, we have seen and learned a lot of interesting things. TOP excursion!!

I love that beach! Not too easy to reach (for example from Hersonissos over 2 hours driving by car) and then you have to use steps up and down but it is not too long walking. If you enjoy views on the road - mountains, sea from the top of some mountain etc, superview to/from the beach, walking in a palm-park, swimming - worth to visit it! Also worth to know - there is a river where you can swim also (specially important in a case if a salty sea-water hurts your skin for some reason). The beach is sandy and the sand was really hot.
There are also available services like shower, restaurant etc. There are quite many people but I would not say it is overcrowded - sure if you prefer some beach to be alone then it is not for you but hard to expect any beach like this with a good asphalt road etc built just for you :)
P.S. Also some boat-trips are organized to this beach. We reached the beach at ca 13.00 and I think starting from 15.00 (can be wrong time) some big boats landed, took a group of people on board and left.

Amazing Tour with Andreas. Great guide. Sampled local honey, olive oil, and bread. Great viewing of lots of local spots. Photos stops were great as was the photographer Andreas! Lots of information we learned a lot about Crete and its history. Amazing walk 10 mins up and down (take sensible shoes trainers!) To a wonderful beach swam in the sea snorkeling to see some fish and clear water. (Not provided) lovely experience. Then lovely lunch wine and raki. A little off roading experience. You all change seats so not always in same position in the land rover. Food was great. Stop off in Spili sample the water from the fountains and walked up to the folk museum small and free 5 mins lovely man inside explaining more around history of artifacts and house. Really enjoyed it x

This excursion was by far our favorite thing to do while exploring beautiful Crete. The hike down to the waterfall was beautiful and once there the swim was cold but amazing . Don't let the cold water stop you from swimming to the waterfall. It is so worth it. Next stop Preveli Beach with its charming access through a beautiful palm forest. The day also included a stop in a lovely authentic Crete village topping off an already perfect day. Savros was the perfect tour guide and host. He was engaging and funny and couldn't have been more accommodating. He truly cared that we were enjoying ourselves. Thank you Stavros (Ed) . You went above and beyond our expectations. A truly amazing day.

Nice tour of Crete! Tour guide and drive very fun and informative! Able to try authentic Cretian food. Due to coming in winter time we were able to see some sites which we might not have seen if went in summer time!

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Dionysus today as our tour guide on the VIP Rethymno Tour. Dionysus is very passionate about his job and more importantly his homeland, Rethymno. He is very informative and knowledgeable and translates English very well. My wife and I enjoyed the conversation learning about Crete.
We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the old villages. Olive Oil, Honey, Wine, Raki, Lamb, Fresh Vegetables, Cheese, Dakos all wonderful! We highly recommend this tour. If your fortunate to get Dionysus as your guide, even better.

Lovely to see Agge again. Once again a lovely warm welcome. First stop was a village and it was so relaxing walking around with her. She seemed to know the whole village. We all sat and had coffee chatting about the Cretan traditions. The small museum was bought alive but the enthusiastic curator who we shared an Ouzo with. Then onto a gorge and beach stop travelling through the most amazing scenery. She got our youngest in the sea snorkelling. Lunch was at a very traditional family run Cretan restaurant where Gyros was consumed. Agge is now a friend. Highly recommend her trips.

Our tour guide, Kostas, was incredibly helpful and made the tour so fun. He had excellent knowledge on the history and culture of Crete. The views and sights were amazing and he made the tour so memorable by making it personalised to our group’s needs.
