The place is really amazing, and the customer service is exceptional. I'll probably recommend the place to friends and family.

This is the main penguin watching beach, which you have to pay to access. Well worth paying for, there are so many penguins!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Strike Craft exhibit as my Dad CPO Walter Jefferies did maintenance on the vessels at Simonstown and Bluff naval bases. My partner an offshore diving supervisor enjoyed the diving exhibit showing how naval divers pioneered the industry. Staff were friendly but I suggest checking loadshedding times as your access is restricted to the upper floor for visibility and safety.

This little museum has so much to offer and is so worth visiting. We learnt so much and it was a wonderful hour spent. Interesting to know that even Bonaparte and Darwin were in Simons Town.

Must go back again and again and you'll see something "new" each time. Only R 10 entrance. Lots of different types of toys from over many years collected by the friendly owner. A must visit but please parents see that your young kids behave inside.

Dogs are great, and if you like them, you'll be inspired by the story of the sailor Just Nuisance. Look it up!

We embarked and debarked from our whale watching boat at this jetty; and also had lunch in the square. The drive there from Cape Town was scenic. We enjoyed it a great deal.

A unique experience to see, touch, even walk-on some beautiful mineral stones.
And, what makes it even more unique, you can take some gems away with you. Just purchase a small bag, made for the purpose, and fill it with as many colorful gem stones as you can fit into it, and you can take it home with you.
I had never seen anything like this, absolutely a unique experience.
I do recommend to take your kids and, even your partner, because there are also a couple of incredible shops that sell stones but also other marvellous items.
If you are anywhere near the area, must go to visit !

I had such an amazing time in Cape Town while being shown around with Apnea Addicts Freediving. We visited many dive sites via shore and boat. All while improving my diving skills on freediving courses.

I am so pleased that I was able to go on a walking history tour of Simon's Town with Joline. The walking was easy and the hours disappeared. I feel I've had a precious glimpse into a history of this place that was previously hidden from me. Joline knows not only the history so deeply but also so many of the locals who are involved in various historical, heritage and community projects that our walk through Simon's Town made me feel a connection not just to the past but to the present too. A wonderful experience altogether. I highly recommend it.
