Dogs are great, and if you like them, you'll be inspired by the story of the sailor Just Nuisance. Look it up!

I've been to Simons Town before and never knew about this museum. I visited the toy museum and accidentally ended up at this museum that is in close proximity of the toy museum. I never realised that people were evicted from their homes in the apartheid area in Simons Town. I only knew about District 6. Our guide was most friendly and helpful. She shared so much information with us in the short time that we spent with her. She is super passionate about her families history. The photos and displays are very interesting. I recommend that everyone should visit this museum to understand the history of our beautiful country so much better. Well worth a visit.

We embarked and debarked from our whale watching boat at this jetty; and also had lunch in the square. The drive there from Cape Town was scenic. We enjoyed it a great deal.

If you feel like some challenging steps then this is the walk for you. Lots of steps but all evenly laid out and easy to walk. Lovely views as you climb up and Just Nuisance's Grave is at the very top. Take lots of water and sunblock if weather is hot.

The view is amazing overlooking Simonstown and False Bay. I would certainly recommend when visiting Simon's Town to take a tour to visit this historic site.

We did 2 dives here with Dive Team, it is one of the most colorful reefs we have seen, with several small shark species that occupy the reef. It also has a great panoramic view of the bay and only a shore boat ride from the harbour.
