- Lize8 contributionsWe went to Jordan for my dad’s birthday and had such an amazing stay!!
The team at Jordan was absolutely excellent and we received the most fantastic service and treatment throughout!
Melanie, at reservations, made the booking experience so simple for us, which ensured that our stay was perfect!
Madie, at reception, was also wonderful and always assisted us so efficiently!
Belinda, at the Cellar Door, was amazing, from arranging our dinner baskets (which were unbelievable!) with wine, to ensuring that we had a cozy spot to sit with our baby for the Valentine's Eve concert! She also gave us some great tips on "hidden gem" wine farms to visit.
The restaurant managers and waiters (especially Nono and another lady who served as at breakfast and whose name I unfortunately did not get), we're just as friendly and efficient.
Nothing was ever too much to ask and everyone helped us with a smile! My mom even commented that we were being treated like royalty.
My dad’s birthday dinner at Jordan Restaurant was an absolute highlight!
We really loved every second of our stay and are already planning on going back again next year for my dad's birthday :)Written 15 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Dewald RCape Town Central, South Africa2Â 059 contributionsIn the heart of Stellenbosch you will find the Stellenbosch University Botantical Gardens. The diverse vegetation in the gardens is amazing and there are numerous paths exploring different areas spread throughout where you can take in the beauty, learn about the different plant species and even bring a picnic to enjoy there. When we visited the entrance fee was R 15.00 per person which is very budget friendly and as they are open every day of the week, excluding certain public holidays, there is no reason to not visit even just for a quick walk around. The Katjiepiering Restaurant (reviewed separately) is also located within the garden and is a good option to grab breakfast or brunch. Whether you are a couple wanting to go for a romantic walk, a family with kids or even on your own, this is a great place to spend some time and take in the natural surroundings.Written 22 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Leslie CawoodGreater Johannesburg, South Africa5 contributionsWe booked a Safari, wine tasting and picnic, what a pleasure to be treated like Royalty by a Prince.
The knowledge we gained from the Safari was not only about Warwick, it included some of the surrounding vineyards as well. The wine tasting was a true experience and food was delicious and plentiful.
Thank you for a memorable day Prince.
Will definitely be returning.Written 23 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Thorsten S1 contributionTo see these magnificent birds upmclose and learn about them is inspiring, excellent and infofmative bird show, it is well worth itWritten 14 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Special thanks to Lungie & ShaunWritten 24 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - tannietweeCaterham, UK56 contributionsThe gardens are beautiful. So many different textures and the way that they have been sculpted in places leaves you wondering how they did it. The sculptures are magnificent and when you look at them from different angles you get a different interpretation each time. The walk is only only 2km long and it is up and down but it is not too taxing as long as you are mobile. It is a great place to sit and contemplate as the views are just stunning. I would love to go back if we are in the area again.Written 17 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Well organized from entry to parking. A lot of interesting plants and specials for the day. Beautiful gardens to around in and sculptures.

Unfortunately the ambience of the venue has changed from being very classy to more of a school cafeteria. They are trying to cram too many people in at the expense of being a more intimate experience.Written 10 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- AristhaCape Town, South Africa4 contributionsGood service and by far one of the best wines I have tasted. You can either sit out on the deck overlooking the Vineyard and Stellenbosch or inside by the fire place. Its situated along the hidden valley wine route- have been here 3 times and will def visit again!Written 6 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
