- Ghis_7777Chateauneuf de Grasse, France83 contributionsIf, like me, you like beautiful gardens, you must go there. Perfectly designed and maintained, the garden is a jewel case for the artworks.
When you arrive at the portal it’s written « visit on appointment only », so I was about to leave, but that’s not the case, approach to the guards they will let you go in, and call somebody who will ask you to park , then drive you with a golf car.Written 13 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sightsee431843667684 contributionsWe thoroughly enjoyed our visit at SMAC Art gallery with Terri. We were very surprised that they were connected by the Wijnhuis Restaurant where you can enjoy fine dining Italian cuisine surrounded by the art from the gallery. In addition they also have a gift shop ,SAD, that sells very unique and fun gifts to take home. This is not only for guests who wants to buy art but also for those who would like to experience the artwork of our local artists.Written 2 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nicholas HLondon, UK20 275 contributionsThis gallery gets its initials from its full name, the Gallery of the University of Stellenbosch. It's located in what looks as though it may previously have been a church. The main gallery space is a big, high ceilinged room, which is the perfect location for the dresses, masks and undergarments on show, many in vivid colours. The works have been produced by Lizette Chirrime and her sewing circle. There are also other spaces, innuse for this exhibition as working spaces for the artist and her team. The information boards are helpful, providing plenty of background about the exhibition and the artist's influences and motivations. Really enjo0yed both the exhibition and the gallery space.Written 1 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 358eralds1 contributionAmazingly beautiful and well crafted original jewelry. The great experience was enhanced by the great client experience offered by the gold smith (Vincent) who provided lots of insight into his jewelry and useful advice regarding what would suit me best. Well worth another visit when I go back.Written 5 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
