I love the variety of food on offer. However, I feel like the food is over-priced.

The outdoor space felt like heaven with the sun on our backs.

Good place to meet and visit with friends. Art more focused on overseas tourists but a good variety of food options and lots of shaded seating.

A tasting room the likes of which you have never seen, and a one on one guided tasting. This place will blow you away, what a fantastic setting

One of the less visited wineries on the Helderberg side but don’t miss it. Only 5 wines but really very good and Biltong pairing option also. Highlight is a 2012 ‘port’ which is one of the finest we’ve tasted. Grab a bottle while there’s a few left. Served by lovely guy James.

Aurea simplicitas. Surrounded by magnificent estates producing mediocre plonk, Camberley, which is the major stop on my SA wine pilgrimage, reminds me of Lourdes. Everytime the miracle: the unexplained explosion of joy after a good bottle of Pierre Philosophale and a shortcut to seventh heaven via The fifth element. The view is soothing, the food simple as befits a good wine tasting and the conversation with Giscard, the Congolese wine master, entertaining and philosphical enough.
Me gusta la gente simple e el vino profundo!
I shall be back! More than once!

The shop is an colorful experience with jewelry paintings and indigenous art. The owner Porchie is a warm and friendly host who invites you into his creative space. A Bonus if he is in the shop when you visit.

One of the many shops to browse when in Stellenbosch, some like Karoo had a more authentic style to their goods.
Arts and crafts, ostrich and leather products, mostly of genuine quality.

This winery is amazing. The white wines are the best. The red wines remind me very much of some of our favorites in Napa Valley. Suzanne, the sister of the 4th generation wine maker David Van Velden runs the tasting room and is very knowledgeable! The space is historic and comfortable. The air conditioning is very nice on those scorching hot days. David and his wife Nicole are incredibly welcoming. We've visited during the harvest while everyone is busy - and they still take the time to show you around and share their families history! The restaurant on the estate is highly recommended as well! A must see!

Amazingly beautiful and well crafted original jewelry. The great experience was enhanced by the great client experience offered by the gold smith (Vincent) who provided lots of insight into his jewelry and useful advice regarding what would suit me best. Well worth another visit when I go back.

What a special little boutique in the center of stellenbosch,
light cottons in stunning patterns, and some dresses, kaftans in white, black & navy, So its a good selection for all, women who enjoy bold pattern and color and those that prefer more subtle and plain colors.
being a women in my fifties & curvy, i liked that this boutique catered for that, many options, feminine, basically catering for women in all shapes and sizes! these garments are perfect for everyday wear or an occasion, by the pool or on a beach vacation. i bought a few pieces which were also a godsend for the heat i experienced in stellenbosch now in January! so fabric is so breathable!
the lady in store was also so helpful and pointed me in the right direction! thank you Pour la vie and well done!
    i shall return.

My husband and I had a fabulous time touring the Stellenbosch region with our tour guide, Louis. Our trip was tailored to our specific tastes and every stop offered beautiful scenery and great wines. To top it off, Louis is a winemaker himself and offered great insights into the region, grapes, and winemaking process. I really enjoyed his commentary and knowledge - Louis really set the tour apart from the rest. Often you see tour guides drop their clients off in the tasting room and leave them to themselves. I enjoyed that Louis was a part of our day and really guided us through the wines. Thank you again for such a great day and for putting up with my never ending requests for pictures :)

A lovely shop, a good variety of dried and fresh food. I loved their gluten free organic oats. Its a very pretty environment, dreadful road signage.

This is the most fantastic shop for pearls. My wife and I have visited regularly over many years and always come away with some wonderful items. Hilda and Rousseau are wonderful and we love them to pieces.

Sadly age and health have now clipped our wings but our memories will always stay fresh of this great part in all our South African holidays. Went year in year out from about 2005 to 2018 so although I will insert later date below this has not been possible.

If you want fabulous pearls at a sensible price look no further.
