This is a good spot to get the feel of the Knysna forest. Its an easy walk around, cool, well cared for with friendly staff. One feels quite safe walking here.

The walk was beautiful. We only did the 3k as we were short on time. Incredibly serene and calming.
The road to the entrance was quite bumpy so take it slow in your car. We had a small vehicle and it was fine.
The walk was a little bit undulating and slippery in places so best in trainers and so may not be suitable for older people.

This is a short but intense hike with an absolutely magnificent river running through a gorge to swim and enjoy.

I have done this hike twice and swam in the tannin rich, coke a cola colours water. I was super surprised to see huge friendly eels this time. One was so tame it came to be petted. Next time I will take them some snacks (apparently they like chicken livers.) Very special hike!

This is the one spot I alway visit when going to the Garden Route. It is clean and right in the middle of the forest. Nothing like enjoying a picnic lunch besides the water. The river has frogs and running water its really peaceful with the Loeries calling in the distance

What a beautiful route winding through the forest, crossing a few streams and through some open sections. I would highly recommend - easy going too.

The trail starts at the Pezula golf course, and you have to walk a way on the golf cart path. The trail is through the forest and steep down to the sea. It is not well marked, and we lost the trail on a few occasions. This is a good one if you want to explore rather than stroll.

If you need to feel and experience nature at its best this is the most easy, wonderful and fatty hiking nature trail to do in Harkerville.... if you think 9 kilometers is long well with this one you don't feel it because the footpaths are great and in good shape. Along the way nice stops to have a break, a nice waterfall, great guidance on how far are you on the route. The quiteness sometimes take you away but suddenly you hear noices of birds, baboons. Great outdoor nature activity for the family. Enjoyed this hiking trail. You don't have to be fit only love nature....
