- Elize OBarberton, South Africa140 contributionsFrom the moment you set foot on the dock where you are to board and even before boarding the catamaran you are treated like royalty. The waiting area is chic and classy and the service of the crew is impeccable with the catamaran itself stunning. The crew definitely goes out of their way to make the experience memorable. The journey out to sea was fantastic and we even got to sail but unfortunately we did not see any dolphins. The steak braai was super delicious with the juiciest fillet and salads being served. The captain ensured that we got value for money by waiting until the sun really set before heading back to the docks. If in Knysna, this is an experience not to be missed and from all the charters we saw, this one was by far the best. We found communicating and booking with Peter, in advance an absolute pleasure, he even kept us up to date with any weather changes and conditions.
The day of our cruise was absolute bliss, with the ultimate blue skies, historical Knysna Heads and one of their Mahogany 1900's wooden boat.
Our cruise was also more educational seeing that we are a family of four with two teenagers as homeschooling scholars. We felt safe and secure.

There were three “runs” going through a forested area. One of us bailed after the first run, not their thing. It was fine to continue the trek with the van driver. Staff were friendly and helpful and knew quite a bit about the local forest.

Justin had me try a couple of different types of oysters from the bay/lagoon and I drank some nice white wine to go with it. Justin is from the area and I feel like he told me so much about the town, the history, and the people that I might not have learned otherwise. Had some good laughs too. Classy guy, great cruise. The tour guide gave us a good overview of the area and pointed put the Seals.
The best part was leaving the lagoon into the sea and the joy our son experienced in the waves.

It was fun in the boat, much better than a sedate trip just around the lagoon, although we did that as well. Out in the ocean we were lucky enough to spot whales, seals and then 2 pods of dolphins who swam alongside the boat, giving plenty of photo opportunities!
