- Not The Domestic GoddessSomerset West, South Africa47 contributionsLovely beach, one can hire umbrellas and sun loungers. There is a great beach bar and their restaurant right next to it. Clean, holiday vibes and very cold water.Written 22 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Marianne PCape Town, South Africa27 contributionsOur walk in Fernkloof nature reserve stands out as one of my most worthwhile outdoor experiences ever. The trails along the mountain slopes are interesting and the scenery from high up there is marvelous, with the town down below and the blue ocean in the background. It was early winter but the day was blue and sunny. A visit in spring when all the flowers are blooming will be wonderful. We already saw some proteas and heath.Written 29 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- chandreySwellendam, South Africa1 contributionI personally want to extend my appreciation & gratitude to Sharon “Stone”. This woman gave exceptional service to me & my team from Capitec on the 5th of August 2022. Her personality & warmth is a huge asset to the establishment & I cant imagine her not being there. She was thoughtful, understanding & accommodating in so many ways! Thank you Sharon! You are an absolute BEAUTY! - ChandreyWritten 6 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Sumaridge is one of those wine farms on the Hemel-and-Aarde wine route that is a must visit! Starting off, their wine is excellent. Our group was impressed with almost all of their wines (from their entry level to their flagship range), except their Pinot Noir MCC which wasn't quite to our taste. The tasting room is beautiful both on the exterior (architecture) and the interior, and there is a big dam right next to it making for great photo opportunities. You can also order something to eat with one couple enjoying a mini-fondue infront of the beautiful fireplace. The lady that presented the tasting was also very friendly. We really enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back.Written 4 December 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Inge TissonAntwerp, Belgium1 contributionHad a super fun quad trip with stunning views! Lovely tourguide, had so much fun even with our 9-year old and very last-minute booking! Great quads too, easy to ride, nice and strong motors, very safe. Only a 20 minute drive from Hermanus were we were staying. Absolutely recommend Percy Tours.Written 15 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Erna AModderfontein, South Africa105 contributionsHigh praise for Southern right charters and staff, they were professional and friendly.
We went on a lovely catamaran with inside and outside seating. We were lucky to see the Southern right whale, Bryde's whale and dolphins right next to boat. You had the option to buy an USP of your sightings on the trip.Written 2 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The whale watching boat trip was to be one of the highlights of our holiday to South Africa. Unfortunately, due the adverse sea conditions, Whale Watching Hermanus had to cancel all their boat trips for the four days we were in Hermanus. However, Shane offered to try to get us booked on a boat trip with another company in Plettenberg Bay as we were due to be there a few days later. On our second attempt from Plett we were successful in getting out and had the most amazing, close up encounter with four humpback whales which interacted with our boat for almost an hour. Considering Whale Watching Hermanus lost all of their business before, during and after the Hermanus Whale Festival, Shane kept in touch and did everything he could to make sure we did get close to whales. Thanks so much for this, Shane. You were instrumental in giving us an incredible experience and for memories which will last a life time.Written 17 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
