It has lots of space to find a spot to set up for the day. There are also friendly lifeguards on duty. It's a great spot for surfing and good for families with small kids.Written 9 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- 247LiveLifeSouth Africa1Â 020 contributionsIt is an easy drive to the view point, with amazing views over Walker Bay and Hermanus.
What we loved the most was the fynbos, which was out in all it's glory! Very special being able to go up close to see the flowersWritten 22 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - BrendaWilliams_12Cape Town Central, South Africa3Â 851 contributionsI tried many spots to see Whales but this spot is definitely aptly named. Did not see whales but saw lovely crashing waves, which I always find excitingWritten 28 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mornet_VWestville, South Africa17 contributionsIt is a relatively steep climb to the top. The path is paved. Once there you have a spectacular 360 degree of Hermanus and the ocean. Excellent place for taking pictures.Written 19 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- michelle behrensLake George, NY4 contributionsSA's own liveaboard scuba experience!! Extremely professional team, exceptional divemaster who found and pointed out extraordinary things for us, in what many call "lifeless" cold water reefs. Diving off a catamaran is much more comfortable than diving off a RIB, and relaxing on the netting during the SIT with the stunning mountains and Hermanus Bay Area as backdrop is a super experience on its own. The reefs and kelp areas are similar to those of the popular Simonstown area, and for macro divers there are loads of nudibranchs (some seemingly endemic), and the most stunning urchins. Like diving in a underwater garden or jewel box! I can highly recommend this operator and will make this dive an annual on the calendar as one would do with Aliwal Shoal and Sodwana! An experience not to be missed!Written 22 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Nkanyezi Nxumalo1 contributionWas Such an amazing ride. The guide was friendly , calm and really took his time with explaining how to control the horses. We were a group of 12 and had two guides, they worked really well together. We hardly had any hiccups on the trail, except for two horses getting really excited at one point, but even with that, because we all knew how to work well with the horses we were able to control them in no time. I'd definitely recommend it to everyone and I'm sure I'll be back sometime soon. Thank you to the amazing team at Heaven and Earth Trails.Written 12 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Erna AModderfontein, South Africa105 contributionsHigh praise for Southern right charters and staff, they were professional and friendly.
We went on a lovely catamaran with inside and outside seating. We were lucky to see the Southern right whale, Bryde's whale and dolphins right next to boat. You had the option to buy an USP of your sightings on the trip.Written 2 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Hanlie P43 contributionsSuch friendly staff!
