He provided us with quite in-depth knowledge of the country, people and areas as we passed through. The Safari was a great experience and the accommodation was of a very high standard will certainly want to visit South Africa again. But we did not see e.g. dolphins and whales were so deep that getting fotoes to show friends were not possible.
Southern Right Charters gave interesting and informative lesson first. Safety feeling all the time on seas. The group was able to tell great stories and experiences. We were very happy - and recommend anyone visiting there in August - December to do it. But we believe there are even better days, and little miss something more. The route to Cape Agulhas by the sea and back through country side gave a chance to admire the nature and the wild life in the fullest. As we wished to skip the wine tasting and the lighthouse in Cape Agulhas and visited the penguin colony only shortly we had a pleasant amount of time for a coffee break in a charming village of Elim, a lunch in Hermanus and experience the waves and the winds of two seas of the southernmost tip of African continent, sublime Cape Agulhas.
Our driver and guide, Danson, is a professional. A trustworthy driver, a knowleadgable guide - also concerning variety of topics like economy, social issues or geology (!) in SA - and a nice person to spend a day with, though naturally we had our own time when convenient. Without such company as his a lenghty tour might be a less exhilarating experience.

- DenaMairangi Bay, New Zealand15 contributionsChristopher made the experience pleasant. Its much better going with Chris than going by ourselves. We've been travelling for nearly 4 months now and prev guided ourselves. This guided tour I found far superior than our self guided travel.

- Anthony E1 contributionHayley was absolutely helpful and understanding as our group of 3 had to cancel a booked shark cage dive experience 16 hours before pickup. Unfortunately one of our group was admitted to hospital having collapsed suddenly, the best possible outcome he had food poisoning and recovered. Hayley has gone beyond to help recover our cost of the cancelled trip and arrange a bank transfer to my UK bank account.

Picked up at hotel, private car. Whale watch and lunch at this fabulous place right down on the rocks with the ocean waves 10 ft. away. Could see whales right from our table. ( restaurant = The Cave)
Then a stop at Stony Point for, off the tourist route, penguins.!
Then ride home was different and saw more of the peninsula.

To much screaming and "Shakira" moments from the staff. But the hotel pick-up and other logistics including changing to and from wet suits and in and out of the cage worked well.
