A kilometer above the stunning city of Cape Town, the magnificent mountain puts on a breathtaking view. The 2-hour queue was worth it, and provided a good opportunity to chat to visitors from other parts of the world. The staff was helpful and pleasant, and kept things moving along. An experience not to be missed.

An amazing site, with magical views, but substantially harder at the top than many of the reviews say. Still - definitely worth the slog. TAKE LOTS OF WATER!! And make sure you've got a head for heights - coming down is quite unnerving at times.

Hey! Hilda here! I was not sure I would manage because a friend had warned me about it. But it was this warning that took me there, to see what makes it dangerous. A few metres into the climb I totally forgot the dangers! The spectacular views of the city and the ocean below, the breathtaking rock formations, the surrounding mountain ranges... wow!
As I used my legs, my arms, my knees, my elbows and my upper body to climb over rocks, I still said; give me a Mountain, any day!

Absolutely incredible, unforgettable experience. Our 9 day safari through Kenya was such a fantastic trip, thanks to our illustrious guide, George. He has 36 years of experience, and it shows. He could literally answer every question we had about the flora and fauna, as well as the politics and culture of Kenya. He told us all kinds of amazing facts. I’ll never understand how he can expertly dive through such treacherous roads, and simultaneously be the only one able to spot wildlife with his keen eye. He’s truly a gem! His excitement, passion, and curiosity are positively contagious. We all felt privileged to experience the natural beauty and diversity of Kenya through George’s veteran eyes. Even my (normally oblivious) teens were enthusiastically looking for animals and checking them off in the Kenyan wildlife book (which George literally wrote!). This is a trip we will always remember and cherish.

The accommodations were excellent, food was great, transportation was seamless. The tour company personnel took the time to prepare us for the trip (helpful information, what to pack, etc), and they checked in with us during the trip. Couldn't have been happier with our experience.

Excellent once-in-a-lifetime experience! The team at Cape Cobra Hire were helpful and friendly from beginning to end, the car was fun to drive, and the experience of driving an open top V-8 through the Western Cape is like nothing else. Drive Chapman’s Peak down to the Cape of Good Hope for incredible views from the seat of a Cobra and you will have a wonderful time.

Riaan helped us 2 days before to book this activity. He gave us a lot of information and was clear in his communication. Our guide Mike was one of the best we have ever had. His knowledge is sooooo on point and he knows every little thing about the mountains and South-African culture! A really passionate guy!

My family and I did a private tour to Cape Point, Boulders Beach, wine tasting, and the following day to West Coast National Park and Fossil Park. We had a tremendously awesome time with our exceptional Tour Guide Wendy!!!! Wendy, you rock!!!! we loved every minute of it, and highly recommend a private tour with Earthstompers while visiting Cape Town. Thank you again!!!

Fabulous trip - the group was around 20. I did the Cape Town to Swakopmund leg. I was travelling solo, as were a few others, and we were made to feel very much a part of the whole group. The highlights were the dunes at sunrise - it's much harder to climb than you expect but wow, was it worth it! The vastness, the emptiness, the whole experience. Another highlight (unexpectedly) was the desert exploration with the guide - hugely knowledgeable and I learnt so much. But when the sun went down, quite a different scene. A few of us were quite emotional. It is an amazing place.

Definitely recommend this tour company - I am considering booking up for another one perhaps further north. The organisation, the thoughtful itinerary, the crew - shout out to Goodness and Albey - all was superb.

The guided hike up Platteklip Gorge was such a great experience. The hike is steep and is stepped most of the way but is not technically difficult and includes no scrambling. There was plenty of time at the top and we took the cable car down although hiking down was possible.

Our guide, Liesl, was knowledgable and interesting to chat with about the mountain and Cape Town in general. We enjoyed her company and she was so much fun, giving us tips for our holiday, explaining the plants/sights we saw on the route and giving encouragement to us throughout. She also told us about other trips that could be arranged such as the penguins at boulder beach and the cape of good hope along with other hikes and tips for seeing the sunrise at lions head. We would have liked to do some of these if we had more time in CT. Liesl also helped us with photos along the route and suggested good viewpoints along the way.

From the point of booking (and questions before) Margaret was very helpful in arranging the hike and introduction to our guide. We were picked up and dropped off directly from our accommodation and had prior correspondence with Liesl by WhatsApp to arrange final collection details. We were also offered to be dropped elsewhere if we were continuing our day but we wanted to freshen up. It was a very hot day and so Liesl suggested an earlier start and this was all pre arranged the day before. She also showed us how to use ‘African Air Con’ which my Wife loved.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Table Mountain Walks and would certainly book again if we were back in Cape Town.

Amazing experience, went for the full monty experience and it was so much fun that I went for the 9mm experience afterwards. Everyone was extremely nice and my instructor was super excited and helpful. Would 100 percent recommend it to other people who haven't ever experienced shooting a gun before.

Not sure where to start. For the rest of our day you couldn’t wipe the smiles off our faces - because of this experience. We saw seals, dolphins, sun fish and this in itself was an amazing experience….but Paul was able to find a pod of humpback whales and for 50 minutes or so we were able from
a respectful distance, observe these mighty, beautiful creatures as they fed on Krill. It was awesome and we feel privileged to have experienced that.
Paul in particular was kind, thoughtful and frankly the kinda bloke you’d go out for a beer with. You’d probably lose sense of time with him and return home likely the worse for wear but having one of the best nights of your life. So if you’re looking at this review, then don’t think twice, life is to short to miss out on this trip and the opportunity to meet Paul!
