- Richard Colorado2 contributionsWe were pleasantly surprised by how much details and facts we learnt about on our tour to the museum. We took the guided tour and it was fantastic hearing from the guide who was very passionate about her job and the museum. This museum is part of history and is set in the location where the actual transplant occurred. The way it is set up you can almost imagine yourself being part of history and watching a miracle taking place right before your eyes. Tanya (our guide) was wonderful. The tour (predictably) ends in a showroom but there is no hard sell. These gems can sell themselves. - Andrew T2 contributionsEpic day, just myself having a tour of the township with Don, he lives and knows the Township well and it is important to see this side of CT.
He has an expert knowledge of the area, the history and has respect from everyone in the community. A must do experience in Cape Town!
Only downside was I paid for a pick up, which was 50 minutes late, and the driver insisted he was outside the whole time, which was simply not true, and I would have appreciated him to just be honest. We tried great coffee and saw how it went from bean to cup! Ate local beautiful cuisine like Bunny Chow and Bobootie. We also tried some local drinks inc some really great wine at a very cool wine store, that we would never of found on our own.
Absolute highlight of our trip! - Mitch4 contributionsThis was a great bike tour of western Cape Town along the Atlantic coast. The fat bike tour was fun and good exercise. It was my first time on an E-bike. I did not use the electric assist other than to try it out, but this feature makes this tour possible for anyone to do. Starting with a sustainably built school and ending with a chorus and so much love and fellowship from an elderly community, my heart was full by the end of our tour. A great reminder of the power we all have to impact our communities and come together. Not only did we visit great neighborhood places, crazy-fun bars, but we learned about the history of Cape Town,, its neighborhoods, the food and landmarks. We loved every minute of it, and our hosts were fun and amazing. - Tpostman243 contributionsOur family of 5 with 19, 15 and 8 year old, love this. The view on the dunes is spectacular. The surfing is so fun. I highly recommend paying extra for the truck to take you to top of dune each time. I walked up a couple times and man was I glad I paid extra for the lift. - AnengelkeCape Town Central, South Africa14 contributionsA phenomenal experience from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. Every little detail was cared for. From the volume of music, relaxing ambience, therapist’s touch and oil selection, the quality and standards are worldclass.
As an educator in the industry, I am especially aware of hygiene and attention to small details. I felt impressed by the the therapist’s knowledge & skill. The massage was specific to suit my needs, intuitively performed and left me feeling calm and relaxed. Clientcare was gentle, kind and discreet.
I will definitely go back for more and remcommend them to anyone who needs a little self-love & me-time.
