A kilometer above the stunning city of Cape Town, the magnificent mountain puts on a breathtaking view. The 2-hour queue was worth it, and provided a good opportunity to chat to visitors from other parts of the world. The staff was helpful and pleasant, and kept things moving along. An experience not to be missed.

Clifton 4 is a great spot for watching people at play. From the cold water dippers to the long distance swimmers, the canoeists, and even the lifeguards doing push-ups, not to mention the beautiful people working on their tans, it’s most entertaining. The soft wide beach is comfortable and not too crowded. You can hire loungers and umbrellas, and cool drinks and ice creams are available - they come to you! The other beaches are smaller and quieter, which is also great.

This aquarium is larger than it seems and has a nice variety of fish and penguins. Good value for the price, and very family friendly.

We (family of 4 with young kids) visited Bo Kaap - having lunch then went for a walk to the colourful houses then back to V&A Waterfront. It is worthwhile seeing the colourful houses, especially along Wale Street where the shop and craft markets are which is more touristy and safer as they have officials on patrol to keep people safe.

Walking back from the main tourist area to V&A waterfront (away from the security personnel), it definitely becomes more challenging. We were approached 4 times by rough looking people for money. It all ended well but in hindsight it would be better to take an uber there, then an uber back to avoid any potential issues.

Fully accessible place that everyone who are looking for unearthly experiences must visit this place. City panorama from the hill during sunset is out of this world!

Had a pleasant stroll on the beach, at the weekends there are more visitors and overall I had a nice few hours just chilling out. In comparison to when I first visited this area, it has changed a lot and not always for the nicest of reason. Overall, I would come back again as this is a nice Bay Area and beach to visit.

Nice spot. Really cool stores and shops. Worth a visit. Lovely genuine well. Loved the SA curio shop and the Expresso Lab - super funky and worth a visit. Food honestly on the high end money spectrum...

A beautiful beach, for those from the uk, it may feel reminiscent of Cornwall, it did for me. Although the weather was a tad more pleasing. Surfy vibe, beautiful clean white sand and no sun loungers and parasols to be found anywhere! There are lovely little cafes and eateries in a quaint boho village setting, and an outdoor pool, a water slide and mini golf and play park to entertain children. A great place for a visit when in capetown .

Fantastic choices of stores and restaurants/food court. Very clean and safe. Parking is easy with a nominal charge. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic 2 night trip. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. All the meals were lovely.
The 4 game drives were made even more enjoyable by Johannes and his humour and vast knowledge! Loved seeing the "Donkeys in Pyjamas"!
Sehliselo was lovely every time we were in her company and could not do enough for us, including helping describe desserts!
The only reason for the 4 not 5 stars is I personally feel that due to the location that soft drinks/water should have been included in the price with a meal. I fully understand charging for alcohol but you can hardly just nip to the shops in this location!
Other than that minor issues I enjoyed my 2 nights very much.

We had a guide take us here on a recent trip to Cape Town and really enjoyed it. Our guide gave us the history of the gardens, as well as a great overview of the trees and plants within it. We enjoyed our time here; however, without our guide I don't know if we would have gotten as much out of our visit, since he was very knowledgeable about everything within the gardens.

Wandered around this market, full of the usual sellers of carved, painted and printed gifts. Some nice things that are more obviously hand made, some more likely mass produced. It’s exactly what you’d expect it to be.
