We had a family suite which was very nice. Though it was cold when we went & unless you wanted to brave the outdoor shower your only other option we to have a bath, which we felt bad about due to water shortages.

We got to see loads of animals and they provided you with loads of blankets to stay warm in the trucks. The animals were absolutely amazing.

The food was also great, my partner was pregnant but everything looked so fresh and tasted amazing with loads of choice.

The only thing I would say is that there wasn’t really a ‘waiting’ area once you had to book out of your accomodation but wait for the transport back. The bar area wasn’t open at the time we were there, but I guess this would be the best option.

What an experience! We were gifted with Tresor as our tour guide, and my God the guy sure knows what he was talking about. His reception and wealth of knowledge totally encapsulated everyone on the tour. He also allowed room for everyone to ask questions and share their own experience.
I did my tour 3 weeks ago while I was in South Africa, and I waited this long so that I could complete the rest of my tours around South Africa. To say that Tresor as a tour guide is unmatched and the best of the best, is an understatement. Infact, it is a disservice to him.
I recommend everyone to do this and any other tours with him. He is the best. It's true value for money.

We booked this tour looking forward to going to Robben Island and taking the cable car at Table Mountain, but unfortunately the beautiful windy weather did not cooperate, lol.

Our tour guide Alex picked us up at 8:00 and took us around the town, riding up the coast toward Table Mountain. Once we got to the top of Table Mountain to purchase tickets for the cable car, we were informed that it was closed all day due to the wind. Alex improvised and took us to another area that gave the same panoramic views, if not better. To be honest, we were a bit relieved, because the windy weather had us nervous about taking a cable car. The views were beautiful and breathtaking.

We then drove through the city of Cape Town and Alex educated us on some of the historical buildings and areas in the city. When we got to the station to board for Robben Island we learned that no boat was going because of the wind :( no worries though, Alex improvised and made sure that we still enjoyed ourselves. I would have to completely thank Alex, otherwise the day would have been a complete disappointment and bust.

The whole experience was pretty amazing! The car was at the hotel punctually. The guide, Isaac, was extremely kind and explained a lot about the culture and the places to us, we love him!! In the way we had the opportunity to stop at an incredible shop. The day was rainy, but we could still had the Elephant experience. We stayed at "Guest House", the room is huge and the hosts were very pleasant with us! The next day, we had the big safari and it was amazing!!!

We had a nice day with Raegan as our tour guide. He picked us up and gave us an extensive history lesson as we drove to our points of interest. The company we snorkeled with were professional and very friendly! We had the boat to ourselves and enjoyed snorkeling with seals, in a kelp forest and a whale sighting as we motored to the snorkel sight. The water was quite chilly - but the guide was accommodating to us ending a bit earlier and had hot chocolate to warm us up! Raegan then took us to the other points of interest and was ready to pick us up after a short hike around Cape Penninsula. We were unprepared for the charge to drive a winding road on the way home (we wish we had been told about this one ahead of time—or offered the choice) and the necessity of cash at each point given the South African power shortages. Overall, a very fun day!

It was a great trip and a great value in my opinion. We stayed in the Tent and it was the most romantic place we have ever stayed. 5 star accommodations in a tent. The restaurant was excellent as well. The Game drives were excellent way to safely see the Animals in natural habitat. I also enjoyed the fact that one was in a desert area and the other was in a mountainous region. Felt like I got to see two ecosystems on one trip. The big thing to understand is this is 300 miles from Capetown. So in two days you do a lot of driving in a van. There is no way around this, it’s simply location and they make it as enjoyable as possible but it is not for you if you do not like long car trips. Once there it is actually a little nicer than the photos portray!!

Due to bad weather conditions boat trip was cancelled, but we decided to continue the tour trying to watch whales form the coast. Local tour operator refunded the cost of the boat trip. We could not see any whale but our guide Gavin gave us very good times at Hermanus and at Creation Winery. He was a gentleman, and gave my family and be a complete explanation about everything. We also saw penguins even though the colony was closing when we arrived.

Had an amazing time. Even though it was raining we had so much fun and the view was awesome. The lady assisting even let me use her rain coat because I didn't have one. This is a definite must do!

I'd give 10 stars if I could! This was an absolutely incredible experience of the Garden Route. Gerhard is quite possibly the best guide I've ever had on any guided trip- he is extremely knowledgeable and deeply passionate about his country and his job which really made the trip extra special. He was very flexible and adaptable to the group and conditions i.e. weather, best spots to see animals, additional stops, etc. The tour is well curated around experiencing the best of the Garden Route/Addo/Safaris and a nice mix of country and coastal driving routes, sights and adventures. Backpacker accommodations, food and drinks were also wonderful and would highly recommend. Lots of solo travelers and great for making new friends along the way. 10/10 would recommend and would book any other tours with Hotspots2C and Gerhard. Thank you for the experience of a lifetime <3

Thank you Kabura Travel Team for organizing our Robben Island Tickets when we could not get them directly as they were sold out online. We enjoyed and learnt alot at Shimasky Diamond museum about South Africa Mining and precious stones. The trip to the Mandela prison was great. Pick up at our hotel was prompt. Thank you to our guide Ibby who had a great general understanding of the complete logistics for the tour. we arrived to the gateway on time to be cheked in correctly and even enjoy the educational video offerd to us by the robben island team. Highly recommended.
