The baths are full of history and there is still a kind of Victorian feel. Although not modern it is clean and user friendly.

We have been a few times in the week and it has never been crowded. Weekends may be a different story!

Tables are first come first serve basis, so it is good to be early. Half price on drinks and meals available between 18:00 & 19:00. This gives plenty of time to chat before the show starts at 20:30. Definitely get your order in early, otherwise you wait for a long time. The burgers were average. The salad looked the best, but arrived at our table 30 mins after the burgers. The more people arrive for the show, the busier and noisier it became and tricky for waitrons and customers to navigate between tables. The comedy was good. After the show there is a long line to queue up at the bar for your bill.

In most of the UK people cannot shoot a handgun. Reserved for police and military. (Northern Ireland is the exception.)
This place allows tourists from UK and elsewhere to enjoy shooting handguns and bigger.
Visiting from the UK we had a great time at City Guns. Able to shoot a variety of guns for a reasonable charge. Instruction and guidance makes this suitable for beginners.
You can even bring kids aged 10-17 for a shooting experience with real guns under expert supervision.
Friendly reception, great instruction and oversight from Ashley. And Sean in the shop is very likeable and helpful.
Street parking nearby is 60min max so we parked in a multi-story on Strand Street (orange signs). When we arrived it seems the venue has its own free parking, so do enquire.
    We will be back.

Cosy setting in Kirstenbosch gardens. Very organised mobile set up in this outdoor outdoor location. Drinks and meals counters adequate. Booked seats and blankets which come in handy later in night. Overall excellent night out.

I visited this cafe earlier this evening with my 8 year old son. I am a single mom so even family-friendly places can be a little awkward sometimes...
however The Big Box Cafe was like a breath of fresh air right in the city.

We were warmly welcomed, comfortably seated and assisted with finding a game and how to play it. Even though there was a zombie dress up theme running with some guests the cafe maintained a very Kid-friendly vibe.

My little one devoured a delicious banana and Nutella crepe, and got a kid-friendly (not too hot) hot chocolate. I thoroughly enjoyed my coffee and had loads of fun playing a good old fashioned board game with my son.

Highly recommended for an alternative chilled out dining out experience for everyone!
(the adult only tables near us had just as much fun as us!)

If you're in Cape Town, go play and have some fun here, you won't regret it!

Went as part of a Birthday party. Our host decided not to do the whole book a private room as there was only 10 of us.
The whole experience was amazing. Staff was knowledgeable and extremely friendly and helpful. The theme was so well done and carried throughout very well.
We played with the 3D glasses on which makes the course so much harder and lead to a lot of stray shots and giggles.
Loved that lockers were provided for the bags.

We didn't buy anything from the shop but it was well stocked with snacks and drinks as well dress up props.

The kids thoroughly enjoyed this arrangement.
So did the parents; no hassle to make food, party packs and thereafter to clean up the mess.
Constant supervision is supplied to ensure the kids' safety.

Kim is such a star. You won't regret choosing to spend your day on tour with her. She is always happy to share her passion for wine by teaching rookies like me as much as they can absorb about the local wines and wineries alike! Guaranteed to be an enjoyable day of wine tasting and great conversation! She is prompt, courteous, flexible, and willing to shape the day to your needs. I cannot recommend her service enough!

My 11month old had a great time here. Normally indoor play areas are more suited to kids who are walking, but this place has a lovely activity area which a smaller baby could play in quite nicely. The park is great and kids of all ages will really enjoy it. Bonus- the seating area for parents has swings instead of chairs 😜

I cannot say enough good things about Marion and Cape Insights! Marion was wonderful to work with, and coordinated a perfect bespoke tour of Africa for us. I live in Hawaii, and would never have guessed that planning an independent six-week trip could be done so easily with someone who was halfway around the world. We worked in tandem deciding what – where – when, etc. – and then she secured all of the reservations, had greeters meet us at airports, and – best of all – gave us never-to-be-forgotten tours of Cape Town and the Winelands in South Africa. Her knowledge of South African history and current affairs is encyclopedic. Her specialties are art and cuisine, and she introduced us to South Africa’s best of both. Marion’s attention to detail was impeccable and there was not a single snafu during the entire six weeks. The game lodges she recommended were perfect for us, and she had vetted all of them – so she knew they were excellent. Our trip was not confined to South Africa – she made reservations in Tanzania, Botswana, and Zimbabwe as well. I cannot recommend Marion and Cape Insights enough.

I have had the very great pleasure of doing the Scavenger Experience for the past 4 consecutive years. Every year, the event I attended has swelled in size and entertainment value! The last one involved 100+ people (25 teams of 4) which made it competitive and fun, and really hilarious as we bumped into teams along the way! It was very well planned, executed and highly professional. Prizes were awarded to the winning team and the team with the most creativity / best theme. Afterwards, we all roared with laughter as we compared stories over drinks and supper at the Finish Line. Every guest went above and beyond in terms of the originality of their costumes, team names and tasks! We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were fully amped when we got to the Finish Line, with no exception. Many participants have since booked this event for their year-end work functions and team building events too. I can’t imagine a day better spent. Well done, Scavenger Experience, we'll see you again soon! And thank you for the most fun day imaginable! :D
