The rollercoaster of emotions one experiences along your journey through the museum is down to the professionalism in the display, layout and information. This is how a museum should be.

Beautiful art in a beautiful neighborhood!! Very small but packs a punch with the beautiful art that they have. If you're looking for pieces of history and culture this is the place. The artwork was phenomenal. Also got a chance to see the artist creating more beauty while there.

We were unable to take part in a visit to Robben Island because of poor weather. Instead we visited this single subject museum dedicated to the life of Nelson Mandela set out in easy to read panels containing words and pictures. The museum is set up in one of the oldest houses in CapeTown adjacent to two other historical properties. (There are no lifts to assist the less able.) This is an easy option to learn all about this world renowned statesman.
