What travellers are saying
- 7continentsAtlanta, GA122 contributionsIf you are looking for local places to eat and buy local goods, this is the place. I didn't feel pestered at all, but at the same time, I like cut chatting with people. The kiosks start to shut down around 6pm. You will see many of the same items you see at Trading Post in Century city, just a lot cheaper. Make sure you bargain.Written 17 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- NicholasCape Town, South Africa3 contributionsGateway Guides are by far the best guides in Cape Town for history and hiking. And they are freely available at a lot of venues. No excuse not to get one.Written 19 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- GrcmdSwampscott, MA4 contributionsWe were very fortunate to have Daniel for our guide to Cape Town. He was informative, entertaining, knowledgeable about every topic from history, politics, culture, geography, food and wine.
He planned our activities carefully and made every day interesting and memorable.
We had an unfortunate situation occur during our trip when my son became ill and required emergency medical care. He drove us to the hospital, walked us into the emergency room and made sure he was promptly attended to. My son needed to return to the United States for surgery. Daniel used his personal car, after hours and drove him to the airport. This is treatment above and beyond what any tour guide would offer.
I can’t thank him enough or recommend him any higher. The best!Written 10 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
