I was nearby the garage went in to pick their brains … but wow … I was amazed by the crew’s enthusiasm for their work … and boom there I was signed up to a breakfast run. I arrived early and was offered coffee and again the enthusiasm was over flowing … the introductions were made as riders arrived and with everyone there was something between us all that was a real thing. A very good brief short factual and to the point.
Off we went and what a joy it was, the scenery the weather … you couldn’t have asked for better - light traffic open roads … a nice coffee at the halfway point and then a nice coastal ride back … postcard perfect all with the reassuring thump of the engine

I went out with RETZA yesterday and have to say it was 100% perfect. This trek was on my Bucketlist, and it was everything I hoped and then some.
Service at the shop getting set up was fun and very helpful.
Bikes were new and in great shape.
My tour guide “Nate the Great” was incredibly friendly, a very conscientious rider who ensured my safety the entire trip, had a wealth of knowledge and love of Cape Town and its history and was really quite fun and great to get to know. Ask for him by name if you have the option.
Weather was perfect for riding and the scenery was just as you would imagine.
Head out early to get ahead of all of the tour buses.

He was waiting for us before the scheduled time with his beautiful, spotless Triker! Many people pointed to it during the day and a couple of people had their pictures taken standing by it! Clean and comfortable and in perfect running order. Clean, proper fitting and comfortable helmets with a full face shield for maximum comfort. He even helps you get them on and off as needed. He took us to all the cool places as we were scheduled, with fun historical facts and stories. Even some hilarious stories of his own.
