Fulvio with his wit always puts a smile on my face when I am literally shaking to hold that Vinyasa pose. Roxanne and Leanne on the Bikram side, are so encouraging. The staff are just amazing and are always available for a chat and a laugh. For me, this is my "safe haven" in Cape Town. I travel 15k's to get there - that's how special this place is for me. Sorry to those I didn't mention. Still learning your names. But a huge thumbs up from me. I highly recommend this little jewel, perfectly situated, for travelers and locals. I just can't say enough. I've been looking for something like this for a long time and didn't even know how to articulate what it would be. A space not just for "workout" yoga or even classes but a space that feels like a soft and kind lab where we can try new things. Where the events encourage us out of comfort zones or to experience something different, something more. Where we are invited to linger and to incorporate the space into our daily lives.
In a world where "compartmentalising" is sold as a positive, it is clean air for the lungs to come into a space that unapologetically aims to help us knit all the areas of our lives back together.
The views are stunning, the saltwater pool is refreshing, and the people are kind. She had boards and paddles for all of us and was extremely patient and got us all standing on our boards in no time. A heated room in the heart winter made the winter moment almost forgettable.
