Being a solo female traveller I was a bit nervous as to what to expect. The tour guide Albert was amazing. I had a great time with him on the trip from start to finish. I highly recommend this tour with Albert. You wont be disappointed. He also spoke fluent French to the other French speak girl on the trip.

We had a fantastic time on this tour.
Tresor was a great guide. He's so enthusiastic and keen to give you all the history and facts about the places he takes you to.

We got picked up from our hotel and headed off.
There's a variety of scenic spots to get photos at which Tresor was more than happy to take for us.

The seal boat trip was good - only R100 per person. Its a quick 45 minute boat ride, but a lot of fun standing on the front, plus you also see the seals.

We then quickly went to the Cape Point ostrich farm, only to briefly see a few of them, not actually into the farm - cool to see.

Next stop was Cape Point - R360 per person entry fee.
Here we walked up to the lighthouse. There were a couple of baboons, but they didn't bother us at all. Amazing views! Make sure you take a walk to the 'Cliff Lookout' - there's signs halfway up.

Following this we went to the Cape of good hope to get the iconic picture by the sign boards.
Lunch was at a seafood restaurant in Simon's Town. We had the King Klip fish. Served Boneless and skinless. It was delicious. R250.

Next was a trip to see the penguins. - R170 per person.
Now, we didn't actually go on the boulders beach to see the penguins, we went on the board walks at Foxes beach. This was still close to the penguins.
Finally, on the way back, we visited Bo Kaap, the Muslim quarter with the multicoloured houses.
We were then dropped off at out hotel around half 5 - 6.
In all, it was a fantastic day.
Remember to bring cash to pay for all entrance fees, makes everything much easier.
Thanks Tresor for making this an awesome day!

If you are visiting Cape Town and want to see it all but not sure where to start, The Cape Archives Team is the place/people to go to. They offer full day private tours (and not just in Cape Town). Our tour guide Danson was phenomenal! He made sure we got to see and do as much as possible, even when our weather was not all sun. His knowledge and expertise made the trip so engaging and interesting! Very personable and constantly checking in to see if we needed anything or wanted to adjust the route. Also was our personal photographer , and a great one at that! If we were to do this day trip alone, we would have been lost and missed so many aspects! A must do to get the best experience possible!! Thank you again!!

Due to poor weather, a visit to Robben Island was cancelled. Being short on time, I quickly scrambled to save my only free full day in Cape Town and found Fabulous Cape Tours. What a find!

Leticia was extremely flexible with setting up a tour to Boulders Beach and using WhatsApp, we were in constant communication.

My colleague and I were picked up by Ayden in a clean Ford EcoSport and we were off!

Boulders Beach didn’t disappoint and we had a nice time heading from Cape Town through Simon’s Town and over to Boulders Beach.

Our only disappointment, which was out of the control of Fabulous Cape Tours, was that due to the bicycle races that Sunday, we were not able to go back to Cape Town via Chapman’s Peak Drive due to time and the toll gate being closed for several hours.

The place where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. It is wonderful to see this facility is finally upgraded to a proper tourism attraction. The walkways, map of Africa and the direction indicators are all welcome additions giving visitors a clear indication of where they are in relation to the rest of Africa. The walkways are also wheelchair friendly.

Tom our guide was so knowledgeable, helpful and personable! We saw many animals at cape point and penguins in Simon's town! Kirstenbosch was so amazing since he thought us a lot about biodiversity! We really recommend this tour and Tom too.
Once again thanks so much for making our stay in cape Town so memorable!

Tressor/Treasure was excellent... He knew SA history very well... He was very informative, courteous and funny.... His recommendations were excellent and he was very accommodating to the requests.... The tour is amazing as it covers most major tourist places within the day... Carrying cash is advised for convenience...
Tressor is very passionate about what he does and it's evident throughout the day.A kind hardworking man... 5/5

Leticia was an incredible guide. She adjusted the tour to a busy schedule and made it absolutely fantastic. The entire tour was crafted perfectly and still flexible. Could not have asked for more.

Cape town really has it all and we saw it all in 4 days. From the dramatic mountains that drops into the clear blue seas to the white sandy beaches and Penguins! We are not so much into history but the Roben Island tour which by the way was conducted by former prisoners on the Island got us very interested. The kirstinbosch botanical gardens are phenomenal and filled with plants that are endemic to South Africa. You might want to bring a picnic basket here if you manage your time properly. The views in the winelands of Stellenbosch and Franshhoek are absolutely incredible. We were lucky to be here after the rainy season so the vineyards where at their greenest. We had some great wines at various wineries and met with some great people along the way.Our last day was at Aquila game reserve where we saw 4 of the big 5 and a lot more of other animals. Aquila is more of a game reserve than a Safari but doing the game drive on quad bikes made it very special to us!.Since animals went extinct in the Cape region, this is the only chance visitors have to see the animals without having to take long flights to kruger national park.We saw and learned a lot during our stay in Cape town and ooh the views from Table mountain where second to none! Always carry a jacket with you when you are in Cape town as the weather can be very unpredictable and changes within minutes.
Thanks Xavier for a very well coordinated program. You made our trip memorable.
