We had a fantastic time on this tour.
Tresor was a great guide. He's so enthusiastic and keen to give you all the history and facts about the places he takes you to.
We got picked up from our hotel and headed off.
There's a variety of scenic spots to get photos at which Tresor was more than happy to take for us.
The seal boat trip was good - only R100 per person. Its a quick 45 minute boat ride, but a lot of fun standing on the front, plus you also see the seals.
We then quickly went to the Cape Point ostrich farm, only to briefly see a few of them, not actually into the farm - cool to see.
Next stop was Cape Point - R360 per person entry fee.
Here we walked up to the lighthouse. There were a couple of baboons, but they didn't bother us at all. Amazing views! Make sure you take a walk to the 'Cliff Lookout' - there's signs halfway up.
Following this we went to the Cape of good hope to get the iconic picture by the sign boards.
Lunch was at a seafood restaurant in Simon's Town. We had the King Klip fish. Served Boneless and skinless. It was delicious. R250.
Next was a trip to see the penguins. - R170 per person.
Now, we didn't actually go on the boulders beach to see the penguins, we went on the board walks at Foxes beach. This was still close to the penguins.
Finally, on the way back, we visited Bo Kaap, the Muslim quarter with the multicoloured houses.
We were then dropped off at out hotel around half 5 - 6.
In all, it was a fantastic day.
Remember to bring cash to pay for all entrance fees, makes everything much easier.
Thanks Tresor for making this an awesome day!
