Definitely one of the highlights of our road trip from Cape Town Waterfront to Cape point. The winding road hugs the mountain side with continuous views of the ocean.
Also plenty of places to stop to take full advantage of the spectacular views.
A small entry fee is payable but well worth it.

Best view a must to visit when you are in Knysna. Walk around and enjoy the view.
We drove up and enjoy the view from the top and then went down and walk around on the beach and read about the ship wreck from Germany. So beautifull

Even if you have no interest in cars and motorcycles come here. Worst case you can sit in the cafe and drink local estate wine while the other half indulges.
The climate in South Africa is kind to our mechanical masterpieces leading to amazing original pieces to be displayed in 4 huge temperature controlled buildings.
I have seen many collections but not one as varied and with such history.
It is a shame that there is not a little more on the bikes.
Overall, not one to be missed while you are in the area. Be aware that viewing is by appointment only so book ahead.

Knysna is an absolutely amazing sanctuary! From the entry, to the experience, to the lodge - the staff was incredible the entire time. Big Mac helped me with my proposal at the end of our evening sunset walk with the ellies and with his help along with the other guides and camera crew we left engaged and with a memory forever. The lodge with the overlook into the elephant's resting area is a level of detail I have never experienced before. Thank you to everyone at Knysna, we'll be back when we return to South Africa!

Of course Lion's head is free, other than the energy required to get up. However if you are looking for a hike, Lion's head is by far the easiest hike the gives the best of the Cape Town mountain views. Great to do for sunset and easy to get down under moonlight.

The first thing we had to see in Cape Town was the penguins! We loved them. The way they walked, the way they sounded, the way they wondered into the parking lot. They’re adorable.

Majestic experience- this was my 3rd time visiting the caves but my friends first. These caves are so awe inspiring. The tour has not changed in all the years but it's still amazing to tour and see. We were very lucky to visit out of season and our tour group was small.

We started from near the Mossel Bay zipline. The trail started with some climbing, and thereafter it becomes relatively flat. Great view of the Ocean and people zipping down the zipline. Also saw many Hyrax/Dassie along the way. There is a split just before the zipline start point. Will need to take the left turn if you want to stay on the trail.
