What a wonderful experience to see the Big 5 up close!
The safari was super interesting. The guides were super friendly and knowledgeable. The animals are free and we try to find them but always respecting their space.
The adventure was safe and really enjoyable. Truly an experience of a lifetime!

Great man made beach in the middle of dry bush land :) Very unique experience which I must say I enjoyed. Probably not everyones cup of tea but it was lovely soaking in the water and seeing some waves having not been close to the ocean for quite sometime. Looks like a great family spot and there loads of other entertainment going on around the beach zone.

The Kings Tower is one of the best kept secrets at The Palace, and one of the finest places to see the sun rise over the Pilanesberg! We went up almost every day for either sunrise or sunset and never saw another soul up there... The views in every direction are truly breathtaking and it's a welcome space for a bit of relaxation and calm before heading out for a day at The Valley of the Waves.

It was fun doing the water activities, but the photos on their website is not what the water world looks like. It not clear water and its a very small area.

The park has deteriorated quite a bit since our last visit. There are lots of potholes. The game viewing is awesome.

Great activities to do as a group of friends, really enjoyed the rock climbing, archery and quad biking (even though quad biking is dusty, you need to wear dark clothes, not like me who came with a white tshirt).
Thuto made the experience even better.

Lovely little golf course, very playable…must have buggy! Some stunning holes, raised tees etc. a touch of water, very playable for higher handicaps.

Usually a one time payment (currently R140 per adult) allows access for the duration of your stay but due to COVID the Maze is closed most days, so you don’t get the same value. None the less it is a novel attraction. I was sad it wasn’t clean. We came across empty beer bottles in the maze, random paper litter and some plastic items such as bottle tops and lip ice that had been discarded on the path. This was surprising as the rest of the resort is spotless. Tip - go in with a plan. Keep left or right only and you should get out of the maze quickly. A bar offering craft beer, soft drinks and ice cream is at the end. There is a quick access route which bypasses the maze if you want to skip it when leaving.

A very nice conference center build in the resort area, allows visitors to have both works and relax at the same time with a short distance. Huge space and the floor plan allows verity of events.
