Trevor really knew where to go to for us to see the big 5 and so much more in Kruger. His driving was impeccable even when on the rough stretches. His knowledge about the animals made the trip so interesting. Overall a very memorable time for always.

My guide Hennie was very knowledgeable and an excellent animal spotter. Also they let you order as a solo traveler which many of the other safari providers I found did not.

We had a fantastic half day sunrise safari tour with Gerrie. The early start was more than worth it to see the huge range of wildlife on offer. Gerrie was so informative and knowledgable of the animals and the park, and answered all the questions we had. He did his utmost to find the animals we wanted to see, and gave us recommendations for our next safari. We saw lions, giraffes, buffalo, elephants and a variety of beautiful birds to name a few. Thanks for an unforgettable experience.

Our trip was so wonderful that I don’t even know where to start.
Gerrie made us live a very special and unique experience and there isn’t a single moment of our trip with him that we would change.
First, the organisation is seamless and perfect. Him and his wife worked very hard to make sure we would feel at home and with the right “tools” (fantastic leopard print blankets for early morning, water bottles, lights, raincoat, …) to enjoy our safari.
Second, Gerrie is the most respected and dedicated guide in all Kruger and we understood why: he simply never gives up! From following a Rhino or a Hiena, asking everyone on the parc advice, building the best itinerary based on what you want to see. On top of that he has a very special bond with animals and knows all the families and history of them.
Third, he is very friendly and engaged toward Kruger. Gerrie and El are simply beautiful people and spending time with them and listening to their story is a delight.
Thank you so much for those 4 days, definitely one of my most wonderful trip.

My wife & I spent 6 days, 5 nights with Bernard. Being newly retired, this was a bucket-list trip of a lifetime. First time in Africa.
Everyone uses the word "amazing" and it seems to have lost the depth it once conveyed.
We saw all the animals and more. The big 5; herds of elephants, hippo, many lions, everything.
The highlight was a trío of lions chasing a cheetah.
More, Bernard was a knowledgeable guide and a good conversationalist.
I learned much about South Africa, poaching, politics and even the future of the country & it's people and their potential.
Clearly, a man who loves South Africa.
I cannot thank him enough for making our trip one of the best adventures we have ever had. I will heartily reccomend him as a guide, compasión & friend.

    Sensational.

Firstly, Mongovo cater for individuals at budget prices which others don't (they require a minimum of two people). The cost of the one day tour was a bargain compared with others.

Keegan turned up early so we could be first in and avoid the throng. Even after 8 years of guiding he can maintain the enthusiasm and that is a measure of his dedication.

It was a non stop action packed 11 hours. Yes, all the big 5 were seen, with all the cats having young. Heaps of other birds and animals were also spotted. Keegan will tailor your journey to what your preferences are, be it wildlife or fauna.

A small intimate and professionally run tour. But most of all fun.

Our host, Shadrack, was absolutely amazing! He asked me my favorite animal, and I told him lion. We traveled through the park and saw many many animals, but only one lion from the distance. That man stopped and asked for help from other guys, and drove and worked so hard to make sure he could make my dream come true of seeing lions! He finally found four beautiful females resting on the rock in the sun!!
He knew so many facts about each and every animal and about the history of the park.
He was a joy to be with all day long!

If you're looking for a safari in South Africa and you're trying to find a tour operator, you should definitely go with African Safari Adventures. Everything feels very personal and tailored to what you want and what you like.

They have been very helpful with the planning, listened to our wishes and what we liked and gave us a worry-free experience at a competitive price.

The guide, Dirk, is probably one of the most experienced and engaged guides in the Kruger park. He keeps track of animal sightings in the past days / weeks and generally knows where to go. He is also very engaged on the radio, trying to make sure to be up-to-date with the latest sightings.

We have also done a Panorama day tour with Heyn, who is very knowledgeable and made us feel like we were on a road trip with an old friend, as opposed to having a guide.

Lastly, we did a trip to Swaziland with Adriaan, who is the expert on Swazi culture. We had a great time here too, I can definitely recommend going here if you have the time. Book at least two nights, as if you just go for one night, things may get a little tight.

The accommodation we had was included and could not have wished for anything better.

The Trip was really amazing. We got to see elephants, lions, buffalos, lepard, giraffes, rhino, hippos and many more anymals in just one day. The guide Bernhard is full of knowledge about the park and has amazing experience. Also crazy stories to tell to get an idea what is going on in the park. I would rate it 10/10 and consider booking here again. Thanks alot!

    This was an amazing experience!
Everything since to chose the proper lens up to being at the right spot at the right time was covered by Bernhard.
His car is perfect for taking pictures with long lenses with sandbags and Gimbals.
He took us on this two days adventure and we were able to see and photograph all the big five, and way more!
    A full african safari experience.
    I highly recomend

We had a fab morning with Robbie - met him on our last day after a few days of self-driving and it was great to be able to take a back seat and have the view from higher up his vehicle. Robbie is full of information and history about the park. It poured down with rain on our trip and he navigated a flooding bridge to get us back to camp safely. Would definitely recommend.

It was an absolutely amazing experience. Bernhard and Hennie were incredible as guides, instructors, and travel companions. It was like traveling with close friends, who also happened to be phenomenal photo guides and instructors. We saw more wildlife than we could have imaged and obtained spectacular photos. I cannot recommend highly enough. I am already looking forward to my next trip with B1!

We had 3 days safari with our incredible guide, Marten.
He picked us up from our lodge at 5.30 am every morning and here we go to our adventure of spotting all big5.
We’re so excited when seeing group of animal in crossing the road just in front of our 4x4 jeep.
Thank you, Marten for showing us how beautiful life could be in Hazyview an Kruger.
