A truly stunning and natural environment. iSimangaliso Wetland Park is a natural treasure of epic proportions. A 2-3 hours drive from Durban takes you to a piece of nature that has been frozen in time and preserved.

A wealth of landscapes and interesting vistas in an easy to navigate park. I was lucky enough to see rhinos on my visit, visit the beach and game drive all on the same day. Not many facilities in the park and bringing your own supplies would be strongly advised (except alcohol) which is banned.

    All-in-all a great experience awaits.

Great hippo and crock tour in St. Lucia today. We were very lucky and got to see a whole family of 8 individuals with a baby hippo.
The where in the water and then got out just in front of us. Fantastic. We also saw a bunch of birds and some crocodile and iguanas. Fantastic experience. We were all very satisfied and our guide from shakabarkertours was great!

Our second visit to St Lucia, and second time riding with Bhangazi Horse Safaris - bush ride.
The guides (Sam was my guide) are patient and very knowledgeable. Horses are lovely and safe/sturdy. You can choose your pace.
We came across zebra, warthog, impala, duiker and baboons. Loads of birdlife.
    Beautiful surrounds.
I will also try the beach ride in the future (it is tide dependent).
Highly, highly recommend Bhangazi Horse Safaris.
    Admin staff were also super-helpful.

We came to the crocodile centre on a rainy day and had a great time! The crocodiles were so much more interactive and mobile than in European zoos we have visited. We saw lots of different crocodiles of different ages and sizes and heard some great roaring. Our 10 year old had a great time.

The vast beaches are clean and remarkably free from pollution and litter. Poles with lifesaving buoys mark swimming areas. There were no lifeguards on duty. The facilities were clean and well-kept.

Veyane Cultural village is as ethnic and simple as they come. The Zulu Dancing, entertainment and music is very pleasant. They also have a option to experience the local tour where you can see how the locals live.

The staff is very friendly and can most probably assist you with anything. They prepared a braai for us and had a guide come and explain what they offer. This is a place to visit to unwind and learn about Zulu Culture.

Tour guide Lindo was fantastic, well-informed and had great instincts. Food was way better than expected and plenty of cold drinks at lunch time. Unbelievably experience and core memories made:

I had a very informative and memorable experience with our Guide Hector yesterday 18 March 2025 on. Full day safari in Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game reserve. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great day. His knowledge of the area and the animals really GREAT. He even braaied for us Breakfast and lunch was included with snacks for along the way. Thank you so much. Highly recommend this tour and this company. 5 stars definitely deserved.

Heritage Tours & Safaris, Half Day iSimangaliso Wetland Park & Cape Vidal safari.
Our guide (naturalist) Siya was both professional and knowledgeable. We had a once in a lifetime encounter with an elephant bull, and although we didn't snorkel at Cape Vidal beach (out of choice), we enjoyed watching a pod of whales from the beach. Well worth it, Siya made every effort to find game, water buck, kudu, buffalo, zebra and more.
Sunset drive and Half Day Hluhluwe drive (giraffe, rhino and lion) also superb, as was Shoreline Hippo and Croc Boat Cruise. Highly recommend Heritage Tours & Safaris.

We did both the fish trap kayaking tour, and the aquarium snorkelling... What amazing trips, highlights of our stay in Kosi Bay! I would highly recommend both. We were in the hands of highly competent and skilful guides, who were passionate about the area and their work.

Well I do not know where to start. a private tour to a Zulu village. But this was no ordinary tour. This was personal. Our Zulu lady was Mpume. She is a 35 year old woman who is making it her personal ambition to educate, empower and slowly embrace tradition with development. I can honestly say that we have returned to the ship, totally humbled and honoured to meet her. I have met some inspirational women in my lifetime and she is without doubt up there with the best, and the most uncredited. Her work with young women and men about hygiene has now given her certification of her work. Most girls only own two pairs of knickers. It doesn’t bear thinking about. We visited her mother’s house ( her first mother, her father has two wives) and then Mpumes house. We danced with the Zulu girls who love to learn the dances from TikTok. Met the healing doctor and well I don’t know what else to say. 🙏🙏🙏🇿🇦🥰

Went whale watching with my family. They make you get there at 06:30 but don't leave until 7:00am which is shame. Who wants to stand around doing nothing for half an hour at that time of the morning. The whale watching itself was incredible. Highly recommended. We had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the owner of this company. She goes down and the most unfriendly person we met in our three weeks in South Africa. She should on a course to learn about customer service.
