- Morne K1 contributionI had a very informative and memorable experience with our Guide Hector yesterday 18 March 2025 on. Full day safari in Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game reserve. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great day. His knowledge of the area and the animals really GREAT. He even braaied for us Breakfast and lunch was included with snacks for along the way. Thank you so much. His knowledge is immense and he was happy to answer our many questions.
We saw a wide variety of birds including some quite rare ones; green malkoha and terrestrial soundbul amongst a lot of other beauties!
He identified the different birdsong for us which sounded so lovely!
His knowledge of funghi, trees, insects, butterflies and other animals is huge which enabled him to show us various animal tracks, water mongoose, porcupine, pushpigs and red duiker!
All in all we loved it!

What amazing trips, highlights of our stay in Kosi Bay! I would highly recommend both. - ashlee r31 contributionsWe had a wonderful time fishing with Johan and Kellan. We caught a lot of different types of fish and tried different types of fishing. We didn't get board of just sitting there with a rod in our hands, we were actively fishing and moving around to find the fish. I would highly recommend Mavericks fishing charter, it was easy to book and a good deal. They filleted up our tuna and Dorado for us as well.
