- Mauro GhilardiRome, Italy710 contributionsGreat hippo and crock tour in St. Lucia today. We were very lucky and got to see a whole family of 8 individuals with a baby hippo.
The where in the water and then got out just in front of us. Fantastic. We also saw a bunch of birds and some crocodile and iguanas. Fantastic experience. We were all very satisfied and our guide from shakabarkertours was great!Written 7 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NMcG0107Sydney, Australia4 contributionsOur second visit to St Lucia, and second time riding with Bhangazi Horse Safaris - bush ride.
The guides (Sam was my guide) are patient and very knowledgeable. Horses are lovely and safe/sturdy. You can choose your pace.
We came across zebra, warthog, impala, duiker and baboons. Loads of birdlife.
Beautiful surrounds.
I will also try the beach ride in the future (it is tide dependent).
Highly, highly recommend Bhangazi Horse Safaris.

- NomadsNaturePretoria, South Africa235 contributionsThe vast beaches are clean and remarkably free from pollution and litter. Poles with lifesaving buoys mark swimming areas. There were no lifeguards on duty. The facilities were clean and well-kept.Written 20 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A 90 minute magic hands treatment eased the pain and got me mobile again. - HeathAbroadStudley, UK5 contributionsWe had a brilliant full day tour with our guide Jabu. He had a wealth of knowledge, he tracked some of the animals by their tracks and gave us the best experience of seeing more animals up close, and he definitely knows how to braai a steak :) We had a fantastic pasta salad at lunch too and when i messaged the office to say thanks and how brilliant it was and could I have the recipe for the salad they sent me the recipe a couple days later! Awesome tour! Well worth the experience!!Written 14 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Not only did he find leopard but also several hyena, Buffalo, zebra, various buck and of course chameleons. Just missed an elephant crossing the road (evidenced by the line of dung droppings) as we were absorbed watching the young leopard marking his territory.Written 6 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Inktaps6 contributionsThemba our guide was exquisite. He was on time, friendly and professional. He knew where to go, could see and ID birds in seconds, he can mimic their sounds and thus call them out. We drove to three different spots not far away from each other and saw a variety of beautiful birds, many of which were lifers for me such as the Livingstone Turaco, the Narina Trogon and the Green Malkoha. Thank you, Themba! It was R450 pp for 2-3 hrs driving with own car. Well worth it 😁Written 29 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NMcG0107Sydney, Australia4 contributionsHeritage Tours & Safaris, Half Day iSimangaliso Wetland Park & Cape Vidal safari.
Our guide (naturalist) Siya was both professional and knowledgeable. We had a once in a lifetime encounter with an elephant bull, and although we didn't snorkel at Cape Vidal beach (out of choice), we enjoyed watching a pod of whales from the beach. Well worth it, Siya made every effort to find game, water buck, kudu, buffalo, zebra and more.
Sunset drive and Half Day Hluhluwe drive (giraffe, rhino and lion) also superb, as was Shoreline Hippo and Croc Boat Cruise. Highly recommend Heritage Tours & Safaris.Written 3 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
