The St Lucia Estuary is really beautiful with an abundance of wild life to be seen, including all types of birds, crocodiles and hippos, unbelievable.

My wife and I had an amazing time doing the 2.5 hours hike in the bush and on the beach. The guides were attentive, the horses responded well to orders, the scenery was beautiful and the wildlife was present.
Lovers of horses and nature, I recommend this activity without hesitation.

A boat trip on the lagoon was part of an organized trip. I think this is a great experience if you want to get as close to the hippos as you possibly can. It was very overcast on the afternoon we went on the boat, which was perhaps even more favourable conditions for us to see three large hippo families in shallow waters.

The entire wetland park is beautiful as far as you can see

A brilliant visit. Despite there only being four of us we had the full experience with insights into Zulu culture and life with a tour of Zulu accommodation and camp activities. We were all dressed in Zulu costumes and had some great photos and the whole day was rounded off with some excellent dancing. Everyone there made our visit so memorable and I would recommend this very highly to anyone.

We came to the crocodile centre on a rainy day and had a great time! The crocodiles were so much more interactive and mobile than in European zoos we have visited. We saw lots of different crocodiles of different ages and sizes and heard some great roaring. Our 10 year old had a great time.

The vast beaches are clean and remarkably free from pollution and litter. Poles with lifesaving buoys mark swimming areas. There were no lifeguards on duty. The facilities were clean and well-kept.

Cape Vidal is about 35 km from St Lucia and costs a fee to enter but you get access to the greater st Lucia park and the lake. Its a busy beach as bathers and fishermen flock there. The boat launch area is a bit too close to the swimming area but it seems not to bother too many people. The reef is home to some spectacular snorkelling. Sadly the toilet facilities have been neglected, especially when you consider this is a "paid beach"

I'd been to Kruger only a few days before, so wondered if I was going to see anything I'd not already seen, and in fairness I didn't, but it was still a memorable experience that I'd recommend - if only because it was more laid back and compact. Well worth the drive and the experience.

We stayed in one of the safari tents at Mpila camp, the tent and kitchen (linked with the deck) have everything you need and to make your stay comfortable. It was tidy, clean and the kitchen was well equiped. Monkeys, hyena and even a lion on your front step, as well as a Warthdog under our tent. This is a gem in a well mantained park. This was my second time in Hluhluwe and Mpila camp with no fence is a bucketlist item.....

This shop was easy to find and had a really extensive stock of mainly locally made handicrafts and gifts - would be hard to visit and not find something to purchase. They also have a good range of foodstuffs to either take away of have in situ.

Just had a wonderful 2 days of touring Cape Town and all the beautiful sights and suburbs around it with Lori Kelly! She was everything we had hoped for in a tour guide and more! Always on time, professional, kept the van sparkling clean and most importantly, she made everything lots of fun! We saw so many things we wanted to including The Cape of Good Hope, The Boulders Beach Penguins, many of the beautiful coastal towns on the Cape, and a tour of Cape Town itself where we learned so much about South African history. We always felt safe with Lori and she became part of our family very quickly! We could not recommend her more highly after our trip and can’t wait to come back and tour with her again!! Thank you Lori for making The Heagy Family’s Cape Town experience so amazing!!

(She also provided us with invaluable information for our stay in the Durban area! She is the best whether driving you around or helping you plan on your own!)

We had an amazing experience with the bush and boat safari. Both guides were very friendly and went out of their way to make the experience memorable and ensure we saw as many animals as possible. Would recommend for first time visitors to the area. Definitely made our trip to the area worry free. ✨️
