This was organised impeccably by Tanja in the office, who covered all of our requests fantastically. Our tour guide once we arrived in Kruger was Rufus and he was a star 🌟- extremely knowledgeable about the animals and the park. I can't recommend this company enough..... they are superb!Written 14 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Fascinating insight into the work they do during the tour. Well worth a visit. Do note that there is no animal interaction with visitors, which i think there may have been in the past. A must-do visit if you are in the area.Written 1 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- CaerChrisCaerphilly, UK34 contributionsAfter reading reviews, I was unsure about this excursion, but I went, listened to the story of Jessica and Cian and it changed my opinion. These are still wild animals, they could leave (and they do leave) when they want and stay away.
I still have concerns of what happens when Tony dies and Jessica is left, how she reacts and interacts with humans as she could become even more dangerous…but at the moment, I don’t see this as exploitation, I see it as conservation.Written 5 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had the 'A Team' consisting of Raymond, Saul and Douglas who looked after our every need. Raymond and Saul liberally shared their vast knowledge of the fauna and flora and we felt totally safe in their care. Douglas, the chef, was superb. An utterly positive experience all round. Thank you.Written 15 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Kathryn JChicago, IL25 contributionsWe had such a good time here! The lodge itself, though relatively basic, was comfortable, and it was cool to see some animals hanging out there during the day. We did have an issue with our toilet breaking, but that was fixed promptly.
What really made our experience, though, was the people here. We had Ian for our safari guide and Congive for our tracker, and they were absolutely incredible, going out of their way to show us an amazing experience on each drive. The other staff members were also lovely—we had a great bush walk with FJ, and Petunia was so sweet at all of the meal services. We will be talking about these three days for a very long time.Written 9 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great staff and amazing safaris!
We were very sad when we had to leave..!
Very recommendable!Written 7 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The walks were so exciting - following a lion roar and footprints is hard to put into words how freaky that feels! We were very lucky to see 3 rhinos, 2 elephants, 2 male lions, 4 honey badgers, a leopard with kill in a tree and 6 hyenas underneath (on a drive), a jackal, a hippo on foot and many in the olifants river walk (!), kudu, giraffes with babies etc etc. Aaron and Absalom are amazing field guides - full of fun yet felt safe and comfortable in their care throughout. Herbert the chef fed us incredibly well. I am not fit, but was able to do the 4-5 hour walks as the pace is fine, with plenty of stops. Everyone who can, should do a walking experience. Highly recommend. Thank you San Parks 👏Written 29 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Aden T1 contributionI was able to see just about every African animal I could ever dream about seeing just in one day. Our guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable about all the different wildlife we encountered. The guide made sure to go above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. My favourite part of the safari was when we spotted a timbavati lion, one of only 4 known to exist in the wild. I highly recommend booking a safari with this company. It was a life changing experience.Written 20 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Gareth OJohannesburg, South Africa3 contributionsWalking in Kruger is always an experience. Our lead guide Nicol together with assistant Obi and cook Elson were great. The refurbished camp is also a huge improvement on the older camp style. We had great sightings on foot of elephant up close, lions on a kill, and a variety of other game, birds and trees. Nicol was excellent in explaining things big (cosmos, geology) and small (bugs and plants) and everything in between. We felt safe amongst the big game. The terrain is different to other parts of Kruger and special to experience. Aug weather was perfect. But overall, it was Nicol who made the experience so good. Thanks!Written 22 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- PaigeKleps13 contributionsIf you’re considering doing The Lonely Bull backpacking trail in The Kruger — let this be your sign.
What an incredible opportunity and experience. Our group of 8 was led by Heusten and Don who were friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to explain so many different aspects of the trail from poop to tracks to birds.
The hike takes place along part of the Tsendze River for the first night and along the Letaba River for the next two nights. It is not a challenging hike as it’s mostly flat, sticking to the river beds. As long as you’re comfortable with carrying your backpack you should be able to enjoy the hike with a low-average fitness level.
The hike is HOT. We hit temperatures of 28 degrees plus, in winter. I definitely would consider doing the hike during the cooler months.
In terms of game viewing it’s incredible to encounter animals on foot however like all things what you see is completely down to luck. If you’re interested in birds then definitely take a small pair of binoculars with you.
This experience is so accessible. And I will 100% be doing the other trails the park has to offer.Written 23 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Jo3 contributionsReally super game drive!
