What an amazing trip! Kruger park was stunning, we had fabulous animal sightings, including 2 packs of painted wolves and a leopard with a kill and another with 2 cubs.

Our guide Simon was excellent, very knowledgeable and great company. Our cook Doug was great too and the food was delicious. The Cabins at Skukuza Camp were very comfortable. Additionally our tour consultant Clare was very helpful and responsive.

All in all an incredible family experience and well worth the money. Next time we will do the longer trip!

Our third time on Wolhuter - we love it that much. We were a party of 4 and believe there was another party of 3 due to be on the trail - but as the temperatures had been about 36 degrees, the other party cancelled - they shouldn't have done as the temperatures (while warm) were perfectly manageable (and we're from the UK so these temperatures should be alien to us!).
Our guides were the wonderful Moses, and Muse. With chef Mimi. They are the dream-team.
The walks were about 6 miles long each morning, (10km). The first day quite flat and relaxing. The second morning was more undulating but so well worth it. They are done at a super pace, nice and relaxed, so it never feels like 10km.
The evening walk and sundowners are shorter, relaxed. Finishing at a great spot to bring out the (self bought) G&Ts and watch the sunset.
We had lions and hyena just outside the camp each night which made for interesting listening, and a plethora of game at the waterhole all day long.
If you are in any doubts whether to book the trail, just do it!

Every moment was beyond fantastic. There were 8 guests, 2 guides and a camp manager – in a small camp many miles from the nearest human. Everybody got along great, soon after arrival we were sat round the campfire looking over a river & out over the plane spotting all sorts of fantastic animals. The camp was simple, and superbly comfortable. We understand it was getting rebuild with more luxury starting the day we left. Walking in the Kruger park – what a way to experience the park, not just seeing animals from a car window but accessing their space. Just the experience of being so close to nature was magical.

Our guides were fantastic, they got us a few yards from a family of Rhino, along with sighting of many other big animals. More than half the guests were bird spotters – the guides found plenty of exciting birds for them.

The camp manager – James – what a top man, cooked for everybody – and what a superb menu.

On the way home the wheel fell off the gear trailer, we all wanted to go back to camp & stay a few extra days, but unfortunately we were quickly rescued.

I was able to see just about every African animal I could ever dream about seeing just in one day. Our guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable about all the different wildlife we encountered. The guide made sure to go above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. My favourite part of the safari was when we spotted a timbavati lion, one of only 4 known to exist in the wild. I highly recommend booking a safari with this company. It was a life changing experience.

Me and my boyfriend was in South africa last year. We got in contact with Mike for our visit to Kruger nationalpark. He was our guide and driver. He is a great guy and we had one of the best days of our vacation with him. We saw most of big 5 and got great photos. We are going back to South Africa again next year and are going with Mike for a lot of exciting tourist activites. Don't hesitate to contact him. You Will have a great time!

Viva Safaris arranged something a little bit bespoke for my family of five, with a pick-up and drop-off at Hoedspruit airport, 2 nights at Tremisana, 2 nights at Mark's Treehouses and a 'mini bush walk' at Mark's Treehouses just for us and the kids. I was really pleased to find Viva Safaris who offer a great South African safari experience, good food and comfortable lodgings without superfluous luxuries that I don't want or need. It was the game drives around Tremisana that we loved the most - we saw hippo, rhino and leopard which I had never seen before in my life, and the scenery itself is beautiful. Just sitting on the stoep of our family suite at Tremisana we could watch a variety of wildlife, including hyena, at a water hole just beyond the fence. The vehicles are great, offering a really good view, and all the guides we had were knowledgeable. We found that the day inside the Kruger National Park, although wonderful - we saw many animals and birds including amazing sightings of crocodile, African fish eagle and lion - was quite a long day sitting in a vehicle. One bit of feedback - I would have appreciated more guidance on tipping - I don't come from the same tipping culture, and although there was some written guidance provided (which I did read) this didn't explain it clearly enough, and I felt quite stressed and uncomfortable a lot of the time because I was so unsure about how much, when and whom I should tip, and feeling I was getting it wrong.

Prior to joining the Kruger NP Safari package, I took the Panorama Tour whilst being transfered from Johannesburg to Nespruit. Our friendly guide, Brandon, could explain the historic events regarding these regions, in a engaging and witty ways, whilst showing the sites and sceneries.

There is one really effective way to see Kruger Park – to have the tour with professional guide in the car higher than ordinary car adjusted to game tour in the Park. Any other solution will not be effective. If somebody wants to self-drive – will never fully focus on animals and without experience allowing to find animals (especially small) not close to the road many animals will be missed.
After sending enquires to a number of companies we have chosen The Other Animals Safaris. The main reason was that we have got the offer which looked very professional, explained immediately some doubts and questions and there was full openness to our family specific need. Also later I was in good contact with Kaylee, even when the late evening before the tour we decided to modify starting time, she replied immediately. Christopher Maseko was our guide. Fantastic experience – very knowledgeable, very observant, he was able to point out very interesting animals in the bushes or very far away. And he was able to predict what the observed animals will do in 10-15 minutes, where will they for example cross the road. Kruger Park is different from Etosha in Namibia or Amboseli or Masai Mara in Kenya. There are many small trees and bushes here, so it is better to observe from a higher level and such opportunities are provided by special vehicles that The Other Animals Safaris has. And the other advantage was that our guide was in radio contact with other guides so we could be at proper place in due time.
Within two days we managed to see Big Five, including baby rhino with a mum. And really many other animals. Fantastic experience and I would recommend The Other Animals Safaris to everybody.

My family and I recently went on a 7-night safari to the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, expertly organized by Legend Safaris. From the initial planning to the end of our trip, every detail was thoughtfully arranged. Mr. Shaheen Patel ensured that our journey was customized to meet our specific needs, including dietary preferences, and communicated these effectively to the lodges.

We were fortunate to have Mr. Pravir Patel as our private guide, who accompanied us throughout the trip. He made sure that we had a memorable experience at each lodge we visited. Pravir's knowledge and his tips on photography were invaluable. I highly recommend Legend Safaris to anyone planning a safari. Their professionalism and commitment towards delivering a seamless experience for their clients is unparalleled.

From the booking of the private “5 Day Kruger Express” safari with Thale everything was clear and reliable, we chose Wild Planet Safari because from the description of the safari we understood that we were going to be with animal experts really in love with nature, not tourist guides and so it was, the driving hours were as long as possible from 6 to 6 which not all companies do, time flied because everything was so fascinating, the animals behavior, the changing landscapes, the light, we never got tired of driving around, our jeep was new, extremely comfortable and high to provide us proper views, anyway we had coffee breaks to stretch out, and fortunately it was a good period without too many other jeeps around so we had a lot of sighting for ourself, Chris our welcoming and clever guide drove us extensively through the Kruger, spotting animals for us and we were a lucky team as we met animals difficult to see more than once, leopards, rhinos, painted dogs, and all “small” animals we are keen on the same, as well as birds zipping along all day, and it wasn’t the migratory season.
We travelled towards north sleeping in different Kruger campsites, which I recommend, having the chance to see different areas of the park, the campsite have a historical taste, a visitors centre, some have lookouts and a shop, why not? ;) with animal books. We were on a middle range safari and all lodges were in perfect state. One night we went on a collective park night safari during which we saw two baby elephants and different nocturnal animals. I wasn’t aware of the thousand of animals we would’ve seen, in this season many parts of the park are burnt to clear out animal viruses but it’s a good moment also because it’s the dry season and less leaves means you can see more animals.
I can’t forget to mention Hopeson kindness that provided us wonderful cooked meals all the way, I wish I could taste again his Potjie, pancakes and steaks, every meal was delicious.
We have such good memories from our trip that enlighted the rest of our year.
In the end we had the chance to meet Ryan, Thale and their lovely family.
    Thank you so much guys!

It's the trip of a lifetime! Words cannot express how wonderful the trip was; Shaun cared for every detail and was available when/if needed. The animals are amazing in person, and seeing them in their natural habitat is a thrill. I would book another with Shaun and Moriti Private Safaris.

We had an excellent time in their new Mananga camp. Sam the guide was amazing and really good at finding the special animals - lots of leopards close up. Paul the chef was top notch - the food was fantastic quality and we all looked forward to the next delicious and beautifully presented food. We had 4 days in Kruger and saw all of the big 5.
