An excellent visit as part of our stay at Moholoholo Forest Camp. What a worthwhile enterprise this is. Fascinating insight into the work they do during the tour. Well worth a visit. Do note that there is no animal interaction with visitors, which i think there may have been in the past. A must-do visit if you are in the area.

Really lovely time spent seeing the center. a fantastic assortment of creatures, up near and personal. It was a pretty fun afternoon overall, and the guides were quite affable.

We had such a good time here! The lodge itself, though relatively basic, was comfortable, and it was cool to see some animals hanging out there during the day. We did have an issue with our toilet breaking, but that was fixed promptly.

What really made our experience, though, was the people here. We had Ian for our safari guide and Congive for our tracker, and they were absolutely incredible, going out of their way to show us an amazing experience on each drive. The other staff members were also lovely—we had a great bush walk with FJ, and Petunia was so sweet at all of the meal services. We will be talking about these three days for a very long time.

This was our first wilderness trail. It was incredible. The walks were so exciting - following a lion roar and footprints is hard to put into words how freaky that feels! We were very lucky to see 3 rhinos, 2 elephants, 2 male lions, 4 honey badgers, a leopard with kill in a tree and 6 hyenas underneath (on a drive), a jackal, a hippo on foot and many in the olifants river walk (!), kudu, giraffes with babies etc etc. Aaron and Absalom are amazing field guides - full of fun yet felt safe and comfortable in their care throughout. Herbert the chef fed us incredibly well. I am not fit, but was able to do the 4-5 hour walks as the pace is fine, with plenty of stops. Everyone who can, should do a walking experience. Highly recommend. Thank you San Parks đź‘Ź

This is a very scenic area of the country. Quite beautiful mountains and rivers and plenty of wildlife to spot. Definitely worth a visit.

The Ntandanyathi Bird & Game Hide is located off the S28 road in between Sabie River and Crocodile Bridge Rest Camps. The hide is located around .5 km down a turnoff road east
of the main S28 and is well marked by sign.

Here you find a small carpark and entrance to a hide with roughly 180 degree viewing of the the river just in front of the hide and the surrounding hillsides.

During our visit we saw numerous bird species, water monitors, terrapins, some zebra, duckers and quite a few elephants come to the small river, what remained of it in the dry month of September.

The hide is in good condition and has room for around 12-15 people. Bring binoculars if you want better view of the birdlife and smaller animals that show themselves while you are there.

We found the Ntandanyathi Bird & Game Hide a good change of pace after a long morning of game driving. It is a good opportunity to get out of the vehicle stretch our legs a bit and to try something a bit different.
