He’s the nicest and most accommodating person. He’s also extremely knowledgeable about all the different animals including their behavior and their likely locations. Despite two challenging weather days (one very hot and the next very cold), I was still able to have incredible animal sightings and interactions because of his experience and knowledge. Riding alongside Gerrie and exploring the magical world of Kruger is a memory I will never forget. From the booking procedure and communication to the pick up and the game drives and activities every day of my trip.
The food was delicious, the guides were terrific, the garden beautiful, the room clean and the overall experience exeeded my expectations. Getting to meet people from allover the world was an exciting plus! Friends recommended Stan to us as a guide, and we were extremely happy with him and the entire day. The breathtaking scenery impressed us deeply, and Stan made the day very entertaining. They raved about him, and I must agree, a wealth of knowledge, punctual, pleasant and easy going. From my first inquiry, Norman has been very responsive and answered every question, I had asked without hesitation. Kruger is an amazing experience and so was the combination with the beautiful Panorama Route. His team and guides were very good. He was prompt and friendly.
We were treated to 7 leopard sightings. We also successfully ticked off the Big 5 on 1 full day game drive.

Gerrie is so knowledgeable and the kids just love doing a trip with him. - nick m11 contributionsWe had the most incredible experience on our two-day safari in Kruger National Park, all thanks to our fantastic guide, Edwin. From the moment we set out, Edwin's expertise and passion for the wildlife were evident. He managed to lead us straight to the Big Five, which was beyond our expectations.
The highlight of our trip was witnessing an intense lion and buffalo encounter. Edwin's deep understanding of animal behavior allowed us to be in the right place at the right time, and his calm demeanor during such a thrilling moment made us feel safe and engaged.
Edwin's knowledge of the park, its history, and its wildlife truly enriched our experience. He was attentive, always ensuring we were comfortable, and he went above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of our safari. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. If you're planning a safari in Kruger, Edwin is the guide you want by your side!

We had a sunset safari on our first day and two full days with Gerrie. He also organized our transportation to Johannesburg.
He truly cares about your wish list, but also adds some really interesting and unexpected about the flora as well.
He is very patient and doesn’t give up, even when you do not see the “obvious”.
We’ve traveled the 7 continents and over 60 countries, so we know the difference between an okay, good and exceptional guide. Gerrie is one of the few exceptional ones who truly cares, isn’t bored with the job, and proudly educates you. He has the knowledge, English proficiency and attitude you need for a great safari.
