Great experience. Our guide was funny & knowledgable. If you didn't get to see some of the animals they have out in the wild, then it's a must. The only place you will see a black leopard.

Having visited here in early 2000, i had high expectations and my hubby is a hobby photographer so i had explained what it was like when we went last. Sadly for the price i was a little disappointed. We went purely due to wanting the see the king cheetah, first time i went they were not available to see as they were nursing cubs. This is extremely tourist orientated.
The tour is on a game drive truck, they drive you into the enclosures of the wild dogs and the King cheetah. We got to see the King cheetahs up close as the one came close to the vehicle. We saw the Ground hornbill, as well as where they have a "vulture restaurant" but it was just bones and the smell was a bit hectic with a few odd little hornbills etc. We saw sables as well as their rehab rhinos and calves that have been rescued that will be released back into the wild when they are ready. The experience was lovely, it was a bit rushed. Also they used to have the cheetah run, where they had like a stuffed toy on a line that they used to show how fast the cheetah can run, they don't seem to do that anymore. They have a curio shop as well as a little "Deli" restaurant. The curios were expensive. While i understand that it goes to research and all that, i just felt it was expensive for a local SA. We have been and definitely won't go again.

After reading reviews, I was unsure about this excursion, but I went, listened to the story of Jessica and Cian and it changed my opinion. These are still wild animals, they could leave (and they do leave) when they want and stay away.
I still have concerns of what happens when Tony dies and Jessica is left, how she reacts and interacts with humans as she could become even more dangerous…but at the moment, I don’t see this as exploitation, I see it as conservation.

I was able to see just about every African animal I could ever dream about seeing just in one day. Our guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable about all the different wildlife we encountered. The guide made sure to go above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. My favourite part of the safari was when we spotted a timbavati lion, one of only 4 known to exist in the wild. I highly recommend booking a safari with this company. It was a life changing experience.

I travelled to Socotra with Africando. It was amazing! Everything well organized, always felt safe. You can rely on Africando and just enjoy. You don't have to worry about anything. And Pedro was just amazing with the group. I strongly recommend this company.

Took the kids here recently, they have a lot of terrific creatures in well-sized and maintained enclosures. Lots to see (probably 60-90min) including a reptile show with some very venomous snakes. Worth a stop if you love reptiles!

I am in love with this gallery and the people in it. Johnathan Patterson's artwork is unique, beautiful and representative of every animal I saw while in this incredible country. Just a side note, I purchased three prints and prayed I could get them home in one piece. On the 45th hour of my journey, I accidentally put a water bottle in the same compartment with the prints and damaged one of them. I e-mailed Johnathan to see if I could purchase a replacement, and not only did he send me a new one, he didn't charge me for it, indicating that he would be happy to replace if for free if I could pay the shipping costs. This was very unexpected and much appreciated. He also does commission work from photos you may have taken while on safari. Thank you Johnathan!

...unfortunately a bit out of the way! This complex houses lots of interesting things to see, buy, experience, eat or drink...but is located on a calm road outside Hoedspruit. And when you cross the gate, you still have to drive on a rather long dirt road in the middle of the bush before you reach the shopping center. Once there you may discover small boutiques with a great selection of arts and crafts, a day spa with organic cosmetics for sale, silk products, 2 restaurants and the highlight of the center: a rich showroom with vintage cars and motorbikes. It is worth a visit if you happen to be in the neighborhood, e.g. in the Moholoholo Rehabilitation Center or Forest Lodge.
