This was the most fantastic trip, organised by Tracey Lund, supported by Gary Jones. We forgot all about everyday ordinary life, just enjoyed the sunshine, the warmth and the fantastic wildlife. Everything was taken care of. Hides for unbelievably birds, drives for animals and night time watching of buffalos and lions. Wonderful!

Lovely game reserve with the big 5. Don't go during rainy season, too lush to see much, but worthwhile going during wintertime. Summers are EXTREMELY hot, burnt half my arm off. Lovely pools and picnic areas. See and amazing variety of birds, reptiles, animals and water dwelling creatures. Took my wife there for the first time and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Will go back during winter.

Lovely game reserve with the big 5. Had a very enjoyable experience with my wife, who visited the game reserve for the first time. She thoroughly enjoyed it. But won't go again in Summer and rainy season as it was extremely lush and could hardly see 20m in. Burnt the heck out of my arm and if our lodge did not have AC & pool, would have died from the heat. Looking forward to going there again in the winter.

The drive up to the Nature reserve which aims to protect the indigenous cycads and the drive further through the adjacent tribal area and the view over the Pongola dam is magnificent. So to the history of the opposite mountains.

We stayed 3 nights at Somkhanda, a big 5 Reserve, and were absolutely thrilled by the wonderful views and unspoiled and peaceful landscape. Riaan, the manager and guide, took us on some drives as our rental was not a 4x4, and it is hard not to notice how much he loves what he is doing and the effort he and Carla are putting in this place.
