The entire experience was professional and seamless from the moment we reached out while abroad, to asking for personalized tours, to online payment, to the tour itself, to last minute change requests, etc. The tour guides were both knowledgeable and considerate, giving us a good balance of commentary and Q&As, while still giving us privacy to enjoy our tours. We were particularly concerned about safety prior to our trip, and I must say, Aahaah made us feel very safe, keeping us well informed and managing local conversations with locals and security when necessary. - ShomerPortland, OR16 contributionsA friend recommended we get in touch with Madisha to help arrange a tour of sites of interest in Johannesburg. Madisha’s company did not disappoint. He picked us up at our friend’s house in Pretoria and took us to Constitution Hill (including a look inside the 2004 Constitutional Court building). When we arrived at our first stop we met our guide for the day: Nosi. Nosi was absolutely fantastic. She is a proud lifetime resident of Jo’burg, deeply knowledgeable about the history of South Africa and the symbolism infused in the Constitutional Court building. Nosi’s expertise was evident in her answers to every question asked by our small group. Her infectious smile and great respect for her country’s history also leant a wonderful degree of candor and joy in sharing it with us. Additionally, we visited the Apartheid museum and the Soweto neighborhood. As Madisha shuttled us from site to site, every time we got in the car he offered great conversation and helped educate us about our surrounds. Madisha and Nosi were awesome.
