Lebo (our guide) and Murundeni (our driver) helped us to feel welcomed and comfortable. We learned so much about the beautiful history of Soweto that will never be forgotten. The bike riding through the city and having lunch was amazing. This tour was personalized: Johannesburg, Soweto, Apartheid Museum, Hector Pietson Museum, Mandela House, Maboneng, Cradle to Human life, Constitution Hill, Local food tasting recommendations and the best of it all transportation from and back to the Airport. Thank you Tye for being a great communicator and coordinating out travel arrangements and connecting us to our Tour guide the best one: Mdu. Mdu was the best with great customer service, throughly explained the history of South Africa and the cultural and way of life for South Africans. Mdu made us feel comfortable and safe the whole time he even went above and beyond to make sure we made it to the airport after finding out we were on the wrong airport. I would highly recommend Honest Travel don’t hesitate you are in good hands for the best vacation. Their communication and efficacy is on point. Thank you Mdu for giving us the best tour and helping us create beautiful memories and thanks for being patient and understanding. Mdu is now a friend to the entire family.

However, Shaun and his team provided us with one of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives. We enjoyed two different safari adventures in Sabi Sands and Kruger Park—one on paved roads with a more distant view of the animals, and the other an off-road journey offering a more exclusive experience. Our guide, Mylord, was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help us spot the wildlife. He not only knowledgeable about what he does but makes your stay in the neighborhood full of joy. Had a chance to meet a grand son of Dr Vilagazi because of him Sipho Vilagazi who runs coffee shop at very important spot. If you book a trip do it with Kaizer, cuz he is not only the best but exceptional! I am not saying others are not Eco also is a nice guy whom I like him the moment I met him. Our driver Cris was also awesome and you will be lucky if you get this combination. I need to be honeat, I am also previlaged since I was alone which sometimes you lose when you are in a crowd. Our tour guide, Thabang, was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. He was well prepared to answer any questions we had to ask. The experience was very eye opening and educational. When our guide shared some personal experiences with us it felt more than a tour but like we were close friends, homies if you would. - Sonja-J3 contributionsWhen we arrived late in the evening at the airport, the driver Lucky of Thiya Tours was waiting for us. He brought us from the airport to our hotel. He was very helpful and knew a lot to tell about Johannesburg.
The next day we had some things planned to do in Johannesburg. Because we had only one day to spend in Johannesburg we decided to take the services of Lucky.
We were pleased with this decision because Lucky is a great guy and an excellent guide. He drives safely in his clean and comfortable car and he was very polite and respectful.
First he brought us to Soweto where we had a tour and after that we went to the Apartheid Museum. In the afternoon we went to different places in the center of the city. Lucky knew a lot to tell about the life in and the history of the city.
If you visit Johannesburg we highly recommend Lucky of Thiya Tours for his services!
