Banele was fantastic! He made sure we learned about Johannesburg’s rich history and took us to places that showed the city’s true character. The tour included entry to entry Apartheid Museum & Constitution Hill, which are must-sees. I truly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it to others!
The tour covered many of the city’s highlights in about 5 hours. Pastor was a fantastic guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. The experience was highly worthwhile.
Despite bad weather in Kruger National Park, the tour was perfect, hotel was very good, and all staff was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Joburg.
This half day safari was really good. Ben picked us from the hotel and brought to Dinokeng. James was our excellent guide at the game reserve. We saw giraffes, zebras, different antelopes (and a glimpse of buffalo). We started from the hotel at 7am and were back at 1:45pm. Highly recommended for those who need to be at the airport in the late afternoon on the same day.
Excellent tour of Maboneng’s neighborhood and art, along with tasting 4 different types of cuisine. Note that the description doesn’t make it clear, but there will be quite a bit of walking during the tour (which I thoroughly enjoyed). The restaurants were not fancy but provided simple, home-cooked meals and I enjoyed the variety. Although I wasn’t a big fan of one of them (I think it was Zimbabwe), the others were tasty and filling - make sure you measure yourself at each meal.
The whole experience was AMAZING !!!! The driver Thabang was even better. Very informative and also made us feel very safe!! Definitely a MUST to do!!!
Great day seeing J'burg especially the prison and Soweto. Mo, our guide, provided the best synopsis of the history of the area. He took us to Kliptown in Soweto which was what we had hoped for. He provided us with a tour that went beyond the usual. Can't recommend Mo and this tour highly enough.
We loved our tour with Kgaogelo. She was informative and educated about so many things related to Soweto and SA more generally. We went with our 9, 11, and 14 year-olds. Our walking tours through a Soweto informal settlement and Mandela’s home were particular highlights.
Excellent and informative. Nhlanhla was very knowledgeable and it was a nice balanced tour seeing different parts of Johannesburg, the Apartheid Museum and Soweto. 2 hours was enough time for us in the museum which is excellent and you could spend 5 hours there easily but there is alot of information to see and take in. Seeing the different parts of Soweto and its community was fascinating and everyone was so friendly. Would highly recommend this tour in a nice comfortable clean minivan
Me and my friends had a GREAT time on the tour with Thabang! Not only was he very friendly and knowledgeable but he went above and beyond to make sure we had a culturally immersive experience! He took us to visit his hometown of Soweto, to grab an authentic South African meal and made us laugh the whole time. I highly recommend going on this tour if you want to learn about the rich culture and history of Johannesburg!
Visiting Soweto and learning about the rich culture and bravery of the Soweto community was such a blessing. Lebo (our guide) and Murundeni (our driver) helped us to feel welcomed and comfortable. We learned so much about the beautiful history of Soweto that will never be forgotten. The bike riding through the city and having lunch was amazing. It Truly was an enriching experience!
We had the half day tour of Johannesburg with Pastor and it could not have been better. We learned a lot about African history and culture. He took us to all the places we wished to visited and told us all the details about it. We didn’t feel unsafe at any moment of the tour. We highly recommend it!
