    WOW! Amazing service.
Steve was amazing and very flexible when we had to change our plans. We arranged transfers from JNB to Mabula and found our wonderful driver Tsholo with great ease. A pleasant drive with convenient comfort stop en route and much information given about South Africa en route.
After our safari break, we were collected promptly, with no delays and dropped to our JNB hotel. The following day Nosipho collected us for our private Ultimate Johannesburg trip. To say she was phenomenal is an understatement. The tour was flexible and relevant to the needs of two adults and a 12 and 14 year old. Made interesting, sharing experiences and being a resident of Soweto all added to our awesome day out.
Initially hesitant of a tour of J'burg, we are soooo glad to have used Stephenson Adventures as extremely professional, reliable and accommodation with fantastic communication and clean, well maintained vehicles for all our trips.
For sure we will use again when visiting SA.
Thank you Steve, Nosipho and Tsholo

We are a family of 4 with 2 young children. We wanted to learn more about the African history and culture. This tour ticked all our boxes and a lot more - and it was pitched perfectly for the boys too!

Our guide was amazing - knew all the facts and could answer all our questions! I could listen to her for hours! It was very relaxed and we had lots of giggles along the way! Thank you!

Steve and his adventures, wow, where should I start…the day was full of great, comfortable accommodations. The vehicle we traveled in was so comfortable to us all, which was a great kick off to the day. The knowledge Steve has for the cities he loves is quite impressive. We learned so much rich history about Soweto and J’burg that at the end of the tour we confidently felt we could pass anyone’s test of our gained knowledge. Steve made sure that our every need was met, making special accommodations happen to each request. Do yourself a vacation treat and GO with Stephenson Adventures.

Pastor was an excellent tour guide. He was informative and took us to different parts of the city so we could get a feel for Johannesburg. We went to a coffee shop where the guy working there was a real personality and a lot of fun. We also ended the city tour at Capital Hill - which was somber and informative.

If you are looking for more information about the city, I recommend this tour.

Our guide, Stephen, was an independent guide, meaning he didn't work directly for Ulysses. Very knowledgeable, young guy, open to answering our questions about life in So Africa. The reserve was amazing!! The animals were so close to the car - zebra, ostrich, vultures, rhinos with babies, wild dogs, cheetah and 2 kinds of lions! We waited for feeding time - yikes - not to be missed if you want to have a feeling of being on the Discovery channel. We didn't have time to go on a safari, so this was a very satisfying substitution.

The picture on this website for the tour is of a tiger which is not in the park.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative. We went through some rough parts of town but he made us feel as safe as possible. Unfortunately Constitution Hill was closed to tourists, that day so we were unable to view it. We would take another tour and highly recommend Tsalanang Tours.

I had a very nice time. It was my first game ride. They had giraffs, zebras, and all sorts of antelope. Its a small reserve, so no lioins. But I had a fun time riding the horse and seeing the animals.

My experience was amazing. High winds caused the balloon trip to be canceled the night before. While we were disappointed not to be able to take the ride, Stuart offered to provide an alternative itinerary for us so that we were not stuck in our hotel for a day on short notice. The options he provided were awesome for our family and he gave us the highest quality tour of some of the Jo-berg highlights on the way to our destinations.

I highly recommend his company and hope to get that balloon ride in the next time I am in town.

After a miscommunication about start time the booking company (Viator), our guide Ben did a wonderful job taking us to Pilanesberg and giving us a wonderful experience. He went out of his way to find great spots for viewing and was very knowledgeable. Despite the late start Ben made up for it with flexibility. The wildlife was magnificent as was the terrain. Pilanesberg surpassed our expectations for wildlife viewing. We appreciated how the tour guides shared information with each other regarding great viewing spots for the day we were there. We dreamed for years of a picture safari experience, and this was a great choice. Elephants, zebras, giraffes, rhino's, hippo's, leopards...the list goes on.
