Clean and peaceful shopping experience with my MIL. Store clerks were helpful and friendly. The security is present throughout the mall and makes one feel “safe”. Wide range of stores and lots of dining options available.

When you walk through the doors at Art Eye Gallery it feels like stepping through time and space. The upmarket, open plan gallery has the look and feel of something out of the movies, but is 100% grounded in its South African roots. Expect a warm welcome from Ty and Nonhlanhla & an excellent cup of coffee whilst they leave you to simply enjoy the experience and find whatever piece speaks to you most. And there are so many wonderful pieces to look at, with something new to see each time, a true display of the talent this country has to offer.
Excellent service at all times, including professional advice on framing. An absolute must if you are looking for contemporary African art. Can’t wait for my next visit.

Lovely lunch of French toast, bacon and maple syrup followed by a delicious apple tart. Would recommend and will return.

Hyde park is one of the most tiny and posh malls in no the city and mostly busy . Combined with luxury stores , a pick and pay & woolworths and many highly rated restaurants, Hyde park has something for everyone! It’s more of a weekend hangout though . You’d love spending weekend evenings here reading books at exclusive books or eating at a super scenic olives and plates looking at the sunset ! It’s definitely going to become a regular favourite if you gel with its vibe !

Good place to browse and shop without going to the major Fourways or Sandton malls. A few good restaurants and certainly a time saver. Recommended.

The place is massive , but still not finished , i agree with other reviews that the signage is rubbish .. there should be a paper map . as signal on phone was not good in places . to look online.. there must have opened it early to start making some money ..

The food court in not very good if you don't like bread or chicken .....!!!

the open spaces need filling maybe with some handmade stuff like market stalls from local people ..got lost a few times, no clear space to pick up private taxis like Uber

If you are on the opposite side of William Nicol Drive you have to go around the entire block then make a u-turn and drive back again simply to get to the entrance.

This needs a massive rethink. There needs to be a yield sign or traffic light and that part of the median removed. Management needs to approach the JRA.

Good shops and restaurants but with so many shopping centres in this area already why would I want to subject myself to this? This is chasing away customers.

Love Design Quarter, clean and neat. Parking great, never have to wait there is always ample underground parking available. Great restaurants and lovely decor shops too. The Mr P store is great, with helpful staff. I highly recommend a lunch/dinner at the Greek restaurant Mythos , which has delicious food.

We shop regularly at Checkers Leaping Frog and have always found the staff to be helpful especially the front counters where money is paid out Sassa etc. They go out of their way to assist and run the extra mile.
