What a cool place! This indoor casino has shops and restaurants surrounding the casino which is located in the center. If it's your first time with the casino and you're wanting to gamble, don't forget to bring your driver's license (if you are a South African). If you are a foreigner/guest in South Africa, you must bring your physical passport - photo copies will not be accepted. There is no ID requirement upon entering the premises however. The variety of restaurants is vast from American BBQ to Chinese to Mexican to Indian, you name it! Highly recommend this place!

This is predominantly a casino set in a very Italian village. All the same there is plenty to do, if you go with children. The play area keeps them busy and happy. We loved the selection of restaurants that are available. Excellent cuisines.

Nice design, many expensive shops, frustrating for me to walk around there since many shops are just for bilionaires, and I'm not one

    Excellent visit.
Not a HAUGE place. But young children and those with a appreciation for creation will love it here.
Holding the baby croc especially was amazing.
Oscar's pizzas are absolutely spot on. Definitely worth chilling and having a cool down with friends and family.

We attended the African Leadership Magazine Persons of the year Awards. The sound was good, food great and entertainment was outstanding. Parking is plentiful.

Not really sure if they are open or not but the guard on the gate said we were welcome and got us a personal guided tour.

Covid has hit them hard and they were definitely closed for a couple of years. I get the feeling they are trying to get back on their feet and maybe taken the opportunity to update some displays.

We were shown specific things and didn't really get the chance to look at everything however what we learned was very informative and I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. Our guide was friendly and informative

Would be a great place for schools to visit.

This is a food market ( with almost no fresh produce, so don't be mislead by the 'farmer' in the name) with a variety of cusines served across the different stalls.

The setting is quite relaxing with live bands/DJs/ open air bars and picnic style seating.

There is a 10 rand fee to enter and the place gets quite crowded during the weekends.

Definetely a fun afternoon out with family and friends.

I love this serene place in Johannesburg. Great for shopping everything from gifts and souvenirs to organic produce. Having coffee here, under the trees, listening to live piano is one of my favorite pastimes in this otherwise always busy town.

This was my second visit within a year to watch Test cricket here. - this time for SA v England As before I stayed at the nearby Protea Wanderers Hotel which is a c 10 minute walk through the Wanderers Club grounds to the stadium.

By British standards the tickets are incredibly cheap R700 in total for the first four days - say £40, for great view seats in the shade in the Unity pavilion - not a pavilion in reality. On the fourth day for flexibility I bought tickets for the grassy bank (£5) and the wooden stand - £3 albeit the latter would easily fail a UK Health and Safety check.

This is an iconic cricket stadium with a great atmosphere and you really only appreciate the aura of the ground when you are actually on the playing surface. There are excellent eating facilities all around the ground, usually at the back of the stands and toilets are good and well maintained. Plenty of bars open although they do tend to sell Castle lager but it does seem to keep the locals in good spirits.

From my experience there are few Test grounds in the world where you can lie on the grass and watch a Test match in action. Although this ground is not Newlands, the SCG or Lords it is easy to get to from the UK ( no connecting flights needed) and there are good hotels in walking distance.

Well worth a visit even if England aren't playing.

Safest place in Johannesburg to roam around and shop. You get almost everything from fashion, food, groceries, toys, souvenirs, South African delicacies and much more.
There are many fashion brands and multi-brand outlets with good price offer.
Choice of restaurants and cafes including fine dining.
There is always Muslim prayer area at Seventh floor near exit 28 (to parking), where Friday prayer is also performed.

    I really liked the mall.
