- LadureeFanRichmond, VA1 345 contributionsWe rode our bikes into the Tsitsikamma National Park. After lunch at the Cattle Baron Grille and Bistro, we took a nearby path to get to the suspension bridge. Lots of stairs, well maintained, up and down to get there. Beautiful bridge. Lovely views. A few hygrax , related to the elephant of all creatures, up on the rocks as we were crossing the bridge.Written 14 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sharon vCape Town Central, South Africa59 contributionsThis hike is absolutely spectacular, vistas around every corner and up every hill. Our guide Ashley was amazing, shared so much area knowledge, and generally was a pleasure to be around. He kept an eye on us, as my husband is 77, and I am 64, so we did not find the trail easy, however it felt like a major achievement at the end, and the whole experience was so worth it. The accommodation was top drawer, spa bath and jacuzzi for the sore muscles were a joy to behold. We enjoyed our stay in each one of the properties, food was great, and friendly people. I think its important to mention that you will enjoy this hike more if you have a reasonable level of fitness, however there is no rush so you can do it slowly but there is some rock scrambling which could be a challenge for some, but Ashley guided us expertly, so it was all good. I would also recommend trail shoes or hiking boots not trainers. If you are on the trail and it rains, the correct shoes could save twisting your ankle or hurting your knees. Walking stick/s are highly recommended. I loved every second of this hike, and will be back again.Written 7 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bonnie BMiami, United States16 contributionsBeautiful scenery, rather challenging walk to the top, lots of photo opportunities and for those who are daring take a kayak ride.Written 20 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mike_G6308Cape Town, South Africa472 contributionsThis adventure in the national park is a short visit to a tree 36 metre tall and 1000 years old.The visit to Tsitsikamma hanging bridge is far better.Written 23 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jenna CNottingham, UK12 contributionsWhat a fantastic experience it was kayaking and liloing up Storms River Mouth and Storms River! We had our two excellent guides, Rowan and Regan, and the others in our group were a lot of fun too. We cliff jumped off the rocks on the way back down the river which was also amazing! Highly recommend for a morning or afternoon of fun and truly stunning views.Written 12 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Liana BiermanSteenbokpan, South Africa192 contributionsEasily one of the BEST experiences of my life!!! If I could rate it 10 stars I would.
Firstly, every single staff member is hyped up & friendly - it's like everyone is as excited as you are! Everyone is helpful & fun. Secondly, you are well informed & never have to wonder where to go or what to do. Safety measures are top-notch.
From the get-go, you can feel the excitement build up. On every step of the way, communication is clear. Taking the zipline to the platform is so much fun. Once on the platform, all the staff members were laughing, singing, making jokes & playing music - hyping everyone up & involving everyone in the fun.
I have dreamed of doing this for such a long time, but I never thought that, from beginning to end, it would be such a fun & good experience. The jump was amazing!!!! And so was everything after & in between.

It was so beyond beautiful to experience and so much fun! I was nervous at first. Adrian not so much. We were both impressed with the knowledge and dispositions of Max and Bernie who were our tour guides! They made sure we were safe throughout… taking videos and making us laugh whilst teaching us about the forest flora and habitat. We saw chameleons! Learned about the different trees and other creatures. Exhilarating and safe. Loved every moment. Thanks guys. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Written 9 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- True Blue20 contributionsKay our guide was without doubt the most friendly, knowledgable and passionate guide we’ve ever had the fortune of spending time with. We were running a little late and Kay was so accommodating in making sure we still got our 2 hour tour conducted. The level of safety briefing and Segway advice and guidance was exemplary throughout. Plenty of artistic photo stops merged with local history of the area and the environment and wildlife, made this tour a pure pleasure to attend. Well worth a booking! Thanks Kay, you are a true professional…Written 10 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Martin5 contributionsDavid & Valerie Lane Trail was a fantastic experience.
It brings you down a lovely forest path until you reach the ocean. The viewpoints are spectacular.
My guide Freddie was amazing and very knowledgeable about plant, wildlife and the park. It was an absolute pleasure hiking with him. We even got to see four whales jumping and playing in the water right from the trail. The trail itself is rather short and aside of a little uphill on the way back no challenge to complete.
10/10 totally recommend it.Written 26 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We loved it, the guides made sure we kept pace with the slowest member of the group, and had sufficient time to do the jumps.Written 28 December 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
