There was not a lot to see in Port Elizabeth but it was ideal for a starting point to see game reserves. The city had a good beach and one large shopping centre

Please make a visit to this gallery. Free of charge and so relaxing. Take a walk around and see what’s on exhibit. Often there are events and functions eg an art and craft fair. Check out your local news.

A wonderful gallery in the heart of PE. There is always a good exhibition on and it is always so well presented. Some really great works have been on display and there is a constant movement of new and exciting exhibitions. Check the Facebook page to get updates or the local newspapers.

A wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning, a vast array of fresh produce. There is also a craft market attached, which makes for lovely browsing.

The artwork is great and has a story close connected to both the township of Motherwell aswell as South African history. The work they do with and for the kids in the township is just incredible! Had a great visit!!

    Keep up what you're doing!!

Had only a half day in Port Elizabeth to get out and see Addo and was fortunate enough to book SA Guided Tours only a day in advance. Alan was my tour guide and he was wonderful. He knew the ins and outs of Addo and in addition to seeing *many* elephants, we also saw eland, lots of warthogs, buffalo, waterbucks, kudus, and dung beetles. Great great visit. I was picked up around 8:30am from my hotel and returned by 3pm (but that was only because we stopped for about an hour-long lunch).

What a delightful venue for Mastertons in Main Road Walmer - an old house, lovingly restored, with much eye-appeal! As an added bonus, for coffee lovers who just can't wait to get their next caffeine fix, coffee can be enjoyed on the premises. There is a covered patio where you can sit and enjoy your favourite brew. As always, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and oh yes, there is safe off-road parking.

Wonderful place to buy delicious honey (from tap or already bottled). There is a beautiful garden and area to sit and drink coffee and tea with homemade sweets. At the boma you can read up on interesting facts about bees. Friendly knowledgeable owners :)

This large collection of limited edition and unusual books (South African mostly) will draw genuine booklovers in and keep them coming back for more. The owners are passionate about books and have collected a treasure trove of titles (over 20,000) to pique your interest. This should be a destination spot for anyone visiting Port Elizabeth. Browse to you hearts content. Enjoy fresh-brewed coffee and immerse yourself.
