Belvedere lookout is a perfect location to view both Opunohu Bay and Cook Bay with sparkling azure water far below and of course, the magnificent mountain we first saw from the ship as we sailed in.
our tour guide Tom was an absolute wealth of knowledge on the history and the lifestyle of today and of the plants we learnt so much and the scenery and views we enjoyed it immensely

My wife and I stopped there, admired the views, and as an added bonus bought some amazing bananas and coconuts from a nice gentleman who was selling various local fruit.

The night consisted of a walk about the "village" to view local artisan shops, a pareo tying demonstration for men and women, a decent buffet and a lovely, beautifully costumed traditional dance.
I think it would help if they make it English an accessible site.

Moorea has fantastic sea related views, the tourquise water the lagoons, the scuba etc. however this short road takes you to the inland where you can see huge pineapple fields embedded in the beautiful forests and...
... here have labels at the start of each trail but just colored markers everywhere else, so you need to pay attention to marker colors!), passing impressive marae sites, and going deep through tropical forest.
