We tried well over 10 different types of teas and bought a wide variety as gifts, everyday teas and special luxury series at affordable prices.
My regular stop is at Susie's shop at 1051 (close to the entrance), as she speaks English very well and patiently tells the "ins & outs" of various tea she offers.

It's got a great little gift shop where I bought far too many postcards, and they have a nice collection of books and even original copies of Mao's little red book in multiple languages.
The gift shop offers a nice catalog of the collection, as well as original posters and Cultural Revolution era artifacts.

This is THE STORE you absolutely cannot miss if you’re going there for some good shopping: best glasses, coolest and most trendy sunnies and that’s the ONLY PLACE where I could found the CD visor I so desperately...
Coming from the metro going into one of the entrances of the A.P. Plaza Market, you'll enter a bazar with an abundance of gadgets, clothing, souvernirs and bags.

Its vast space and countless number of stores prove irresistible for souvenirs-hunting shopaholics, given its wide variety of fanciful memento to possibly acquire.
The shop keepers weren't giving the hardest sell I had experienced (parts of Vietnam and all of Egypt was much worse!), which made us Aussies more comfortable to walk around and enjoy looking around.

If you tire of the crowds and shops, just take a walk down a side alley and look at the quieter part of town.
Those souvenir shops, forget about it unless you have a really good bargaining skill.
