This park is conveniently located near several hotels and shopping, and it's just off of I-5, which makes it a great place to get out and stretch your legs and unwind a bit when you've been on the road a while.
The staff working were great and we were impressed on the number of people enjoying the park that afternoon.
Monteith Park

Excellent Concerts in the park.
It has a nice stage and because it sits at the bottom of parks grassy slopping meadow it makes for a great area to bring blankets to sit on while enjoying musical performance's.
Takena Landing Park

If it is a good day their is a 3.5 round trip level nature trail that is beautiful in any season and boarders the Willamette River to the south and a golf course to the north.
Last week, following unusual hectic events, I found myself driving over to Takena Landing Park.
