This is really a must see in SPB alongside with the regular museums and cathedrals.
We have been to THE train museum in Hamburg which is truly incredible but this is great for the glimpse it gives of Russia and all the different geographical areas.

Definitely a must when visiting St. Petersburg After visiting many cathedrals museums and kremlins in the Golden circle this offered brilliant perspective of historical relevance.
I was a little surprised that the items appeared to be selling better than those in other Russian state museums I have visited.
