What travellers are saying
- Hannah BBirmingham, UK48 contributionsOne day here - recommended by our hotel Double Tree Hilton. Was a lovely relaxing day by the pool. The staff on the whole were very welcoming. The lunch time buffet was good value for money and very delicious.
Only downsides were that we booked the snorkelling with the company that was on site - Sinbad - and we had a poor experience with them (that’s in a different review). Also - compared to what the outside looks like the changing rooms and toilets were clean but could do with a makeover and a lick of paint. But it was all clean. Also - poolside music was rubbish but what can you do.Written 3 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - BilalWorld7 contributionsAmazing beach suitable for families and couples, nice calm atmosphere, wide sand beach, great for campervans, and must sit beside the Bazar Store kiosk, very nice service!Written 3 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- KrügerLeverkusen, Germany3 contributionsThe mosque is so beautiful at night, when it's dark and the mosque itself in white, all tourists taking photos and so did we.Written 9 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Dimitar PVarna, Bulgaria122 contributionsBeach is sandy with small rocks, so make sure you have flip-flops or similar to not hurt your feet.
Water is crystal clear and swimming is prohibited without required bathing suite aiming to preserve the maritime wildlife, but no one was stopping people with shorts or two parts swimsuits to go in the water, apart from a net between the piers.
Scooba diving was available on site as well as drinks and food from club restaurants
Relax and activity areas are very close to each other so for sunbathing relax you may have to go to the end of the designated area.Written 29 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Pidg3Canberra, Australia49 contributionsEasy to snorkel off the beach here. I took a taxi from town, rented a snorkel and mask from Darna Divers Village for 5JD and snorkelled the Japanese gardens for a few hours. Darna’s minded my bag while I was out- and called a taxi for me when I was finished.
For the slightly nervous, there is a system of ropes and buoys to keep you in the vicinity of the coral drop off.Written 30 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Farah A1 contributionPeople there awful guys there are annoying expensive drinks and food

- Bob MBirmingham, UK1 515 contributionsSeems to be open at random times on random days - if the gate's open go in, no sign of staff.
Worth a quick walk round, but not really a lot to see. Some explanatory boards.Written 23 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Darshana RatnayakeAmman, Jordan1 852 contributionsBest time is to be in the evening ..can see sun go down nicely .

Only a few walls and buildings can be distinguished. There are a number of explanation signs to give you a bit of insight.
It is not something worth a detour. More some to spend 15 minutes if you happen to be close.Written 7 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Bethsfusion2 contributionsAlthough this was a very small Aquarium compared to many we have been to, we enjoyed seeing the types of fish, corals, and anemones local to the Red Sea!! As we read the signs, we discussed the importance of protecting the coral reefs and what things to never touch if we see them in the water. They enjoyed seeing the Nile Crocodile & Hawksbill Turtle too!Written 3 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Indi8 contributionsWorth a visit if you're a birdwatcher but not as many wetland birds as we were hoping for because all but one of the pools were completely dry even though we were there in March and there had been plenty of recent rain. We did still see Spur-Winged Lapwings, Black-Winged Stilts, Marsh Sandpiper, Little Stint, Ringed Plovers, Ruff, Black-Headed Gull, Cormorant, Purple Heron and Common Crane. The overhead raptor migration was the real highlight with up to 8 in the sky at once and some soaring quite low. Almost all were Steppe Buzzards but we did see Marsh Harrier and Short-Toed Snake Eagle as well. Lots of passerines too around the first smaller pools and in the scrub. Bluethroat, Red Rumped Swallow, Green Bee Eater and Reed Warbler were highlights. Avoid wandering into the army areas (just stick to clear paths) and bring your passport to get through the military checkpoint (although when we were there the border was closed at weekends so passing the military checkpoint wasn't as big a deal). The bird observatory building has toilets. Be aware that you're very close to Israel so if there's a time difference (not sure if there always is but there was when we were there) then your phone MIGHT display the wrong time. Not sure if all phones do this but this happened to us which resulted in a mix up with the taxi driver.Written 1 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
