- Melissa BalanAnkara, Türkiye220 contributionsWe came here in the off-season to enjoy some time in the sun before heading into Alaçati for lunch. The water is beautiful (cold this time of year). The sand is soft. The one put-off was the amount of cigarette butts in the sand. I imagine it's even worse during high season. If the small trash problem is taken care of, it would get 5 stars from us.Written 27 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sera K.Frankfurt, Germany91 contributionsWe have been here 5 days in a row. Its a quiet , calm, beautiful clear beach and water. You can look down to the ground and can walk a half mile into the ocean. Of course at this time of the years its a little chilly, but we were swimming, since weather was really hot. It was just a great opportunity to cool down. I have been much beaches ( even on the black sea) but this one is absolutely one of the best beaches. Guess, it must be really crowded in the summertime.Written 18 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gabriela RBucharest, Romania56 contributionsGreat beach, clean and beautiful water, amazing view from the top. Buuut, still be had an unpleasant situation, due to covid measures. In the middle of the day (on saturday), some group of policemen came to chase everyone off the beach. We tried to explain that we are tourist, we DO NOT camp (because there are a lot of tents which stay over the night most probably) and those measures do not apply for us. After so much time of explainations and discussion they let us alone. So do not go here during weekend I guess, in Covid times, they have special rules, only for this beach.Written 8 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. great walk through the cobbled stoned streets and the fresh market was out of this world!

You always know where your kids are and it is terrific for young children.
The entrance is very pricy and so is food and drinks.Written 1 February 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The museum is spread in several rooms on 2 or 3 levels. Artifacts displayed date from the early Greek era to Ottoman times. Most interesting part for me was the naval part on the Russia-Turkish naval war.Written 10 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. As other people stated the beach is for free but looked clean.
Also you could stay at the promenade next to the beach and jump into the water. There are ladders to go back on land.Written 29 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The price is reasonable for a family with 2 small kids (total 150 turkish liras all day). The only negative was that one pool was closed 2 hours before closing time. For a fun day with your kids its a great choice.Written 10 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nesligül DIstanbul, Türkiye6 139 contributionsBuilt in 1832, it must have been the biggest and most important church of Cesme, but now it is used as an exhibition and concert hall.
It is good to have a ruined church come to life but the restauration is really terrible, it must have been done by amateurs hastily. Still it is worth visiting as it used to be a majestic church. It is very easy to find as it is in the middle of the main pedestrian shopping street of Cesme. The present exhibition was really very good, but this is usually not the case, generally the exhibitions are by amateur painters.
They also sell pieces of traditional Turkish art.Written 23 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The food at the restaurant is quite good but the service really sucks. The tektekci bar is amazing but the prices are insane... Otherwise it is 'the' beach.Written 10 October 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
